Stonesplitter Orc - Fighter with Retaliation in Earth Monster

Hello and Namaste Friends,

I hope you are having a good time with your family and friends and also staying safe at the place wherever you are. This is my splinterlands battle share post for this week and I am sharing it before the weekend this time. I am here to share my tips and strategies that I followed to win this battle. Splinterlands season is just started and will end in 9 days and it's going to be fun. I played some battles this morning and finished my quest with earth monsters.

This week's theme card is Stonesplitter Orc from Earth Splinter and this is a pretty good card in the earth monster team. I had this card in my account since the beginning as it comes with the basic pack I believe.

Now Let's also have a look at the statistics for this card named Stonesplitter Orc. We need to go through it to know more about the Stonesplitter Orc card and figure out the capabilities of the card. It's a very important part to know about any card. Without going through stats it's difficult to conclude whether the card is good or not.
Stonesplitter Orc is a rare card from the Earth monster in Alfa and beta edition. This card is available from levels 1 to 8 and it gets 2 abilities with different levels.

Cards Line-up and for the Battle

I got 26 mana for this battle which is just okay and I managed to pick 6 cards including Brownie that cost 1 mana to be in the game. I played the battle with AKURA and the opponent player played with the water monster. My cards played pretty well and this helped me to win the battle. My cards in earth monsters are nice and I win most of the battles while playing with the earth.

Flesh Golem

Flesh Golem is one of the best cards in the earth monster team having 2 abilities. One is Heal and another is Void. It's one of my favorite cards that I prefer to pick most of my battles with earth monster. It costs 6 mana and this cost is certainly justified with its power and abilities.

Earth Elemental

Earth Elemental is another low mana card that is quite good but prefers to keep in the middle and its higher level works so nice. I am planning to upgrade it soon once the hive price is a bit higher.

Wood Nymph

Wood Nymph another nice card in earth splinters and it helps to restore the life of fighting a monster and it also attacks in the battle. It's like a sweet girl that is helping the player to win the battle while damaging the opponent's cards.

Stonesplitter Orc

Stonesplitter Orc is a rare monster card in alfa and beta edition. It costs 6 mana cost to be part of the battle. Retaliation is the ability that I use because another one comes with level 5 onwards. I put it in the middle of the battle.

Screeching Vulture

Vulture is a low mana card but certainly a very good card to have provided it's kept in the middle because it can not handle attacks for long. Sometimes it does so well that helps to win the battle and in this battle, it did the same.

Brownie

I pick this card since I had 1 mana left so fill the gap I used it however in this battle id did not do anything special. I was expecting it to do good but that did not happen.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

Whatever strategy I planned for this battle went pretty well and I won this battle. I will try more ways to play with it in future battles depending upon mana and theme for the same.

Do you use the Stonesplitter Orc often? Why or why not?

Stonesplitter Orc is a very nice card from the Earth monster that is surely worth keeping into account. I have played some battles with this card after the challenge announcement and I like its performance and keeping it in little of the battle makes it even more. I will surely use this card in my future battles with life. Sometimes it loses and sometimes won but still a good option to keep in the account.
