Splinterlands Challenge: SERPENT OF THE FLAME

Hi all Splinterlands friends,

Here I am talking to you about the new contest theme, the intriguing SERPENT OF THE FLAME, an epic card of the Fire element, available in both Alpha and Beta versions. A first aesthetic judgment, influential at the level of play: one of the drawings that I love most of the set, I really like it very much and congratulations to the designers!

I bought the Alpha version card a few months ago, really very beautiful aesthetically (am I a bit repetitive? 😂) already upgraded to level 3 and upgradeable to a maximum up to level 6. Currently it has a basic attack +1, a really speed high +6, only one armor point and 9 life points, proving to have a solid defense.

At the first level SERPENT OF THE FLAME has the Retallate ability which allows the monster, when it suffers a melee attack, has a chance to counterattack its opponent. In battle it has happened a couple of times and is one more attack on the same turn. At level 3 the monster has a second Poison ability that adds a chance of poisoning to each attack and the poisoned opponent loses a portion of their life total each turn. At level 5 the last ability Piercing allows, in case the attack zeroes the armor points, to subtract the rest of the damage to the life points.

Training:

SERPENT OF THE FLAME

Deployed in first position, the monster dodges several opponent attacks and is a great feature because it allows me to greatly reduce the opponent's strength and potentially turn a disadvantage into an advantage. Very fast card, she is the first to launch the attack!

CREEPING OOZE

Inevitable presence in my formation, the advantage of slowing down the opposing monsters is really huge and is often the extra gear to win games. Not to be underestimated, indeed I strongly recommend it!

HORNY TOAD

A very combative frog with its +2 attack and very weak defense. But he does not spare himself and launches the attack without fear, perhaps hoping to find the princess who transforms him into a prince 🙏

KOBOLD MINER

Our Kobold carries out his work consistently and calmly from his last position. Having low life points, I tried to deploy him in last position, hoping that I didn't have an opponent with the same ability but attack or higher speed. As you can see from the battle, the monster attacks the last opponent's card, surrounding the enemy on all sides and unleashing attacks incessantly!

FURIOUS CHICKEN

Finally, my beloved hen that fearless and contemptuous of the enemy, attacks like a fury from a distance. Small attacks that still cause damage to opposing monsters. I remember FURIOUS CHICKEN has 0 😍 mana

Ciao a tutti amici di Splinterlands,

eccomi qua a parlarvi del nuovo tema del contest, l'intrigante SERPENT OF THE FLAME, carta epica dell'elemento Fire, disponibile sia in versione Alpha che in Beta. Un primo giudizio estetico, influente al livello di gioco: uno dei disegni che più adoro del set, mi piace davvero tanto e complimenti ai disegnatori!

Io ho acquistato qualche mese fa la carta in versione Alpha, davvero molto bella esteticamente (sono un po' ripetitivo? 😂) potenziato già a livello 3 e potenziabile al massimo fino a livello 6. Attualmente ha un attacco base +1, una velocità davvero elevata +6, un solo punto armatura e ben 9 punti vita, dimostrando di avere una solida difesa.

Al primo livello SERPENT OF THE FLAME ha l'abilità Retallate che consente al mostro, quando subisce un attacco da mischia, ha una chance di contrattaccare il suo avversario. In battaglia è successo un paio di volte ed è un attacco in più durante lo stesso turno. Al livello 3 il mostro ha una seconda abilità Poison che aggiunge una chance di avvelenamento ad ogni attacco e l'avversario avvelenato perde una porzione dei propri punti vita ad ogni turno. Al livello 5 l'ultima abilità Piercing permette, in caso l'attacco azzeri i punti armatura, di sottrarre il resto del danno ai punti vita.

Formazione:

SERPENT OF THE FLAME

Schierato in prima posizione, il mostro schiva diversi attacchi avversari ed è un ottima caratteristica perché mi consente di ridurre notevolmente la forza avversaria e potenzialmente capovolgere una condizione di svantaggio in vantaggio. Carta molto veloce, è la prima a sferrare l'attacco!

CREEPING OOZE

Immancabile presenza nella mia formazione, il vantaggio di rallentare i mostri avversari è davvero enorme e spesso è la marcia in più per vincere le partite. Da non sottovalutare, anzi io ve lo consiglio fortemente!

HORNY TOAD

Un ranocchio davvero combattivo con il suo attacco +2 e la sua difesa molto debole. Ma non si risparmia e si lancia all'attacco senza timore, sperando magari di trovare la principessa che lo trasformi in principe 🙏

KOBOLD MINER

Il nostro Kobold esegue il suo lavoro con costanza e tranquillita dalla sua ultima posizione. Avendo pochi punti vita, ho cercato di schierarlo in ultima posizione, con la speranza che non avessi un avversario con la stessa abilità ma attacco o velocità maggiore. Come potete notare dalla battaglia, il mostro attacca l'ultima carta avversaria, circondando il nemico da tutte le parti e sferrando attacchi in modo incessante!

FURIOUS CHICKEN

Infine la mia amata gallina che impavida e sprezzante del nemico, attacca come una furia dalla distanza. Piccoli attacchi che provocano comunque danni ai mostri avversari. Ricordo che FURIOUS CHICKEN ha mana 0 😍
