Hi Hivers and Splinterlands players,
three days ago a great new feature was introduced in the Splinterlands game:

The card rental system within the Splinterlands site.

Before the introduction of this new feature, it was only possible to rent cards from the Peakmonsters site (https://peakmonsters.com/), which had filled this gap by implementing a great rental system.
The last two days before the end of the Splinterlands seasons I often used the Peakmonsters site to rent Splinterlands cards and I always found it very good. The rental system implemented by Peakmonsters was a very good solution but it had the flaw of being an external solution to the Splinterlands site and for this reason it was not known by all Splinterlands players.
Now all Splinterlands players can rent and lease their cards directly from the Splinterlands website and in this way the rental functionality will be known and available to all players.

Inside the MARKET section of the Splinterlands website there is a new section called CARD RENTALS.

In this section you can see all the cards available for rent.

The cost of the rental is indicated on each card and is a daily cost (24h).

It is possible to sort the cards by price and filter them by card levels

You can narrow your search using the following filters:

• Edition
• Foil
• Rarity
• Splinter
• Role

These are the same filters available in the CARD SALES section

How to rent a card

Renting a card is very simple:
1. Click on the image of the card you want to rent.
2. On the next screen you must select the card of the level and price you have chosen by putting a tick in the white square.

3. You have to choose whether to pay using Credits or DEC tokens (only two choices).

4. You must click on the RENT button

5. On the next screen you have to choose how many days to maintain the card and finally you have to click on the green RENT button.

That's it! Easy right?

Making your own card available for rental is just as simple.
Once you have selected a card in the CARDS section of the Splinterlands website, click on the symbol highlighted in the following image.

In the next screen you must choose the RENT CARD option and enter the rental price per day.

Splinterlands in the case of a rental lasting more than one day will take from the player who rents the card (renter) the full amount of the rental and after every 24 hours will make the payment to the owner of the card.

The card owner pays a 5% fee to the Splinterlands site.
Both the card owner and the renter can decide to terminate the rental at any time but the rented card will remain with the renter until the end of the current rental day.

For example, if I rent a card for 7 days and I start the rental at 16:00 on 12 July and after one minute I decide to cancel the rental, I will have to keep the card until 16:00 the next day (13 July) and only then will I receive the return of 6 out of 7 installments (I have advanced 7 installments at 16:00 on 12 July).

The cards rented from the Splinterlands website have no Cooldown period and as soon as a rental is over they can be immediately rented by another player.

This is an important change because before the introduction of the in-game rental system in Splinterlands, all cards rented from the Peakmonsters website had to respect a cooldown period of 6 days. In this time window the card became unusable because it was not possible to use it in battle until the end of the cooldown period.

In this post I just wanted to introduce the new rental system within the Splinterlands site because, if I have enough free time in the coming days, I would like to write a detailed tutorial on the rental of Splinterlands cards.
Also, the end of the current season of Splinterlands is approaching and as I have been doing for several seasons now I will rent some cards to try to get at least in the Champion III league of Splinterlands and I will be able to take many screenshots to show all the steps to new players and to those who have never rented a Splinterlands card.

For the rental of the cards I will continue to use the Peakmonsters site because it has adapted to the new system of Splinterlands and offers to the players who want to rent their cards and to the players who want to rent cards from other players many more useful features than the Splinterlands site.

From the Peakmonsters site, differently from the Splinterlands site, you can also search for a single card and you can use many more filters that speed up the search for cards to rent.

Ciao Hivers e giocatori di Splinterlands,
tre giorni fa è stata introdotta una grande novità nel gioco di Splinterlands:

Il sistema di noleggio delle carte all'interno del sito di Splinterlands.

Prima dell'introduzione di questa nuova funzionalità era possibile noleggiare le carte solo dal sito di Peakmonsters (https://peakmonsters.com/) che aveva colmato questa mancanza con l'implementazione di un ottimo sistema di noleggio.
Gli ultimi due giorni prima della fine delle stagioni di Splinterlands ho spesso utilizzato il sito di Peakmonsters per noleggiare le carte di Splinterlands e mi sono trovato sempre molto bene. Il sistema di noleggio implementato da Peakmonsters era un'ottima soluzione ma aveva il difetto di essere una soluzione esterna al sito di Splinterlands e per questo motivo non era conosciuta da tutti i giocatori di Splinterlands.

Adesso tutti i giocatori di Splinterlands possono cedere in fitto le proprie carte e prendere in noleggio le carte che desiderano direttamente dal sito Splinterlands e in questo modo la funzionalità del noleggio è a conoscenza e a portata di tutti i giocatori.

All'interno della sezione MARKET del sito di Splinterlands c'è la nuova sezione che si chiama CARD RENTALS

In questa sezione è possibile vedere tutte le carte disponibili per il noleggio.

Il costo del noleggio è indicato su ogni carta ed è un costo giornaliero (24h).

E' possibile ordinare le carte in base al prezzo e filtrarle in base ai livelli delle carte

E' possibile restringere la ricerca utilizzando i seguenti filtri:

• Edizione
• Foil
• Rarity
• Splinter
• Role

Sono gli stessi filtri disponibili nella sezione CARD SALES

Come noleggiare una carta

Noleggiare una carta è molto semplice:
1. Devi cliccare sull'immagine della carta che vuoi prendere in noleggio
2. Nella schermata successiva devi selezionare nell'elenco la carta del livello e del prezzo che hai scelto mettendo una spunta nel quadratino bianco.

3. Devi scegliere se pagare utilizzano i Crediti o i token DEC (uniche due possibilità di scelta).

4. Devi cliccare sul tasto RENT

5. Nella schermata successiva devi scegliere per quanti giorni tenere la carta e infine devi cliccare sul bottone verde RENT.

Tutto qui! Facile vero?

Rendere disponibile una propria carta per il noleggio è altrettanto semplice.
Una volta selezionata una carta all'interno della sezione CARDS del sito di Splinterlands bisogna cliccare sul simbolo evidenziato nell'immagine seguente.

Nella schermata successiva bisogna scegliere l'opzione RENT CARD e inserire il prezzo del noleggio per giorno.

Splinterlands nel caso di un noleggio della durata superiore ad un giorno prenderà dal giocatore che prende in fitto la carta (locatario) l'intero importo del noleggio e dopo ogni 24 ore effettuerà il pagamento al proprietario della carta.

Il proprietario della carta paga il 5% di fee al sito di Splinterlands.
Sia il proprietario della carta che il locatario possono decidere di interrompere il noleggio in qualsiasi momento ma la carta noleggiata rimarrà al locatario fino allo scadere della conclusione del giorno di noleggio in corso.

Ad esempio se io noleggio una carta per 7 giorni e inizio il noleggio alle 16:00 del 12 luglio e dopo un minuto decido di annullare il noleggio dovrò tenere la carta fino alle ore 16:00 del giorno successivo (13 luglio) e solo dopo riceverò la restituzione di 6 rate su 7 (anticipate alle 16:00 del 12 luglio).

Le carte noleggiate dal sito di Splinterlands non hanno nessun periodo di Cooldown e appena terminato un noleggio possono essere subito prese in noleggio da un altro giocatore.

Questa è un importante novità perchè prima dell'introduzione del sistema di noleggio interno al gioco di Splinterlands tutte le carte noleggiate dal sito di Peakmonsters dovevano rispettare un periodo di cooldown di 6 giorni. In questa finestra temporale la carta diventava inutilizzabile perchè non era possibile utilizzarla in battaglia fino al termine del periodo di cooldown.

In questo post ho voluto solo introdurre il nuovo sistema di noleggio interno al sito di Splinterlands perchè, se avrò sufficiente tempo libero nei prossimi giorni, vorrei scrivere un tutorial dettagliato sul noleggio delle carte di Splinterlands.
Inoltre la fine della stagione corrente di Splinterlands si sta avvicinando e come faccio ormai da diverse stagioni noleggerò alcune carte per cercare di arrivare almeno nella lega Champion III di Splinterlands.

Per il noleggio delle carte continuerò ad usare il sito di Peakmonsters perchè si è adeguato al nuovo sistema di Splinterlands e offre ai giocatori che vogliono noleggiare le proprie carte e ai giocatori che vogliono prendere in noleggio le carte da altri giocatori molte e utili funzionalità in più rispetto al sito di Splinterlands.

Dal sito di Peakmonsters infatti è possibile ricercare anche una singola carta ed è possibile utilizzare molti più filtri che velocizzano la ricerca delle carte da noleggiare.
