My progress on Splinterlands - not going so well lol...

So today, I just want to go through my progress on Splinterlands. Haha, it has not be great. Currently I am in the Gold III league, which is quite terrifying, given that I used to be in he Champion League. I found that it was not hard to get into Champion league recently, but now it is quite difficult to get into Diamond league.

I dont think that it is due to Dec floors, as you can see my Max Tier is Champion 1. I also have somewhat of a decent deck:
It is not great, but I still have some decent legendary cards and some of them are leveled up (not all of them are MAX level but should be decent).
With this deck I was able to get into Diamond easily and also into Champion. Maybe I have just become lazy or there are a lot of skilled players around now.
I had thoughts about leveling up my cards, but my dec balance does not allow that haha. So I just have to keep trying. At this point I might be pushed into Silver League if I am not careful.
I am also out of untamed packs lol. Yesterday @chrisroberts was kind enough to send me some untamed packs. However, my luck was not great and the best card was only a GF Common
And that is it. Thanks for checking out the post and hope that you like it. Hopefully I make better progress next time. My goal is to make it back to Champion before season end.

Competition certainly became harder over the last seasons but if you keep pushing you should bounce back to the top. See you in Champion League Captain :-)

If I ever get more time, I might give Splinterlands a try. If I'm correct, that used to be called Steem Monsters? I have a Splinterlands account with I think 50 cards on there I got awhile ago, that I've never done anything with (busy student). Looks like fun though! :)

It's definitely gotten tougher - I used to hit C1 easily, now I'm limited to C2, and sometimes only get there with a couple of days to spare.
I doubt I'd get into C1 these days - NB I do find it easier when I go up from Diamond to Champions - a lot of average players with good decks lurk in Diamond because they know they can't hack it in Champions, crap players will lurk in Gold.
Once you get up to champions I think the better players filter to the top and the players with not all maxed cards are down the bottom, so you've more chance of getting match with them in Champions ironically.
We really need to be shaming the lurkers, it's a bit pathetic TBH.
