Hello

I hope you're having a great day.

Welcome to my blog where I'll share my winning match with Mitica Headhunter in splinterlands. And with this post; I'm going to join SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! Mitica Headhunter

THEME: MITICA HEADHUNTER

Edition: UNTAMED
Rarity: EPIC
Element: EARTH
ATTACK: RANGED
ABILITIES: Snare at level 1; Piercing at level 4; Shatter at level 6

I don't use this monster so often because it requires high mana and because I already have better options but I think, with proper strategy, this monster can be a great asset, especially in the big mana cap battle. Having the"Snare" ability unlocked at the first level, this monster can be a nice supporter for the team with its big ranged attack. Its "Sneak" ability helps it to remove the flying ability of the enemy if it's an enemy with the flying ability which unlocks at level 1 with 1 card.

Right now, my Mitica Headhunter is in level 1 which offers me 4 melee attacks, 5 speed & 5 health with "Snare" ability and it needs 8 mana to play.

  3. Tell us about your lineup. Explain why you put each card in that position and why the Mitica Headhunter is a good fit for the ruleset.
    • So, to explain my lineup... Why did I use the cards I did? And why in that order?
Yeah about that... In this match; I've played with earth splinter using the Lyanna Natura summoner.
  4. Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
    • Yeah, my strategy worked out perfectly and I'll try to use similar helpful monsters next time if I need to.
  5. Share your post to some OTHER Social Media site.
    • I'm going to share this post with the #splinterlands hashtag on Twitter after publishing this post.

A Brief Info About The Match

The battles mana cap was 30 with the "Standard" rule where I used the earth splinter for the match and my opponent used life splinter against me.

My Lineup.

image.png

I had my Nectar Queen in level 1, War Chaang in level 1, Earth Elemental in level 1, Mitica Headhunter in level 1 & Furious Chicken in level 1.

And my opponent had his/her cards as Furious Chicken in level 1, Goblin Mech (Gold) in level 1, Luminous Eagle in level 1, Mantoid in level 1 & Lone Boatman in level 1.

Let me talk about cards that I used in this battle.

Summoner: Lyanna Natura (Rare Earth Summoner)

Lyanna Natura is probably the most used summoner in my splinterlands journey so far when it came to doing the battle using the earth splinter although I stopped using it in the meantime when I started playing with Epic & legendary summoners. But I can assure you that this is a fantastic summoner for the earth splinter.

My Lyanna Natura is in level 1 and she offers +1 health to all the friendly monsters and it needs 3 mana for battle.

No 01: Nectar Queen (Common Earth Monster)

Unlike most queen bees, Nectar Queen is a vampire bee that lusts for a real taste for blood.

This bee is so powerful with a big melee attack and health.
I normally like to use this monster in every big mana battle in the first position.

My Nectar Queen is in level 1 with 4 melee attacks, 2 speeds, 10 health with the "Flying" ability and it needs 9 mana for battle.

No 02: WAR CHAANG (EPIC Neutral Monster)

It's an amazing monster who has a double attack. From the visual and from the official lore of the monster, we can see that this monster is something that's been used in war and I've only seen them in cinema before.

Although I used this monster in the battle in the third position as I used another double attack monster in the second position. For splinterlands, this is a fantastic monster with a double attack. I was kind of confused about the best position for this monster in the battle.

I've learned that it's best to use it in the second position as it has both ranged and melee attacks. From the second position, it can attack with a ranged attack and if the front monster dies then this monster can come to the front and attack with melee.

My WAR CHAANG is in level 1 which offers me 1 melee attack, 2 ranged attacks, 3 speed & 8 health with "Retaliate" ability and it needs 7 mana to play.

Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

No 03: Earth Elemental (Rare Earth Monster)

Every time I used to do a battle using the earth splinter, I tried to use this monster as I got nice support from this monster. I had this monster at a higher-level before when it had better powers and now when it's in a lower-level with fewer powers, still it's proving to be a nice asset. It's "Heal" ability is what makes it far better and that ability unlocks at level 4 with 11 cards.

My Earth Elemental is in level 1 with 1 ranged attack, 1 speed, 6 health and it needs 3 mana to play.

Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

No 04: Mitica Headhunter (Epic Earth Monster)

I don't use this monster so often because it requires high mana and because I already have better options but I think, with proper strategy, this monster can be a great asset, especially in the big mana cap battle. Having the"Snare" ability unlocked at the first level, this monster can be a nice supporter for the team with its big ranged attack. Its "Sneak" ability helps it to remove the flying ability of the enemy if it's an enemy with the flying ability which unlocks at level 1 with 1 card.

My Mitica Headhunter is in level 1 with 4 ranged attacks, 5 speed, 5 health and it needs 8 mana to play.

Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

No 05: Furious Chicken (Rare Neutral Monster)

This is the card that I use when there's a slot left but no mana left. I mean its service is great for free I suppose. Right now... I can't imagine playing a match without this card.
It's like the chicken that lays the golden egg. It provides great support with its counter attack. With 0 mana... it's just amazing.

My Furious Chicken is in level 1 with 1 speed, 1 health and It needs 0 mana to play.

Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

  • In my personal opinion... Mitica Headhunter is a nice fit for the ruleset.

On the battlefield.

For the special ability of my summoner, all my monsters got +1 health each and the same happened with the opponent team. Then the most speed holder, of course, my Mitica Headhunter started the battle with its first attack on Furious Chikcne of the opponent team and successfully killed it. Then the gold foil Goblin Mech of the opponent team came forward to the first position. Then all other monsters started attacking from their own positions according to their speeds. With the help of other monsters, my Nectar Queen killed the whole armor of the Goblin Mech of the opponent team.

At the very beginning of the second round, my Mitica Hunter attacked and killed most of the health of the Goblin Mech of the opponent team although my team failed to kill the Goblin Mech at that moment for what the Goblin Mech of the opponent team had the chance and took the chance of killing my Nectar Queen. Then with the help of my Earth Elemental, the Mitica Headhunter of my team attacked and killed the Goblin Mech and later the Luminous Eagle of the opponent team although I lost my Earth Elemental in this fight.

image.png

Then after a time, my Mitica Headhunter killed another monster of the opponent team, and then the opponent team had only one monster which is a melee attacker and he was unable to attack from the front position and my team took this opportunity to kill him pleasantly. My War Chaang broke the armor of the last monster of the opponent team and then my Mitica Headhunter attacked and killed the last opponent monster with only one shot.

Actually, the battle got easier cause I had the theme card, Mitica Headhunter in my team otherwise I might lose the battle. My Mitica Headhunter really did its best.

The battle got finished in round 6 while my team still had three monsters alive. It was indeed a fantastic battle that my team fought.
