Splinterlands Card Review: Dark Ferryman.

Welcome back to my blog where I'll try to review a splinterlands card in every detailed way possible with gameplay with the card and this time I'm going to review the Dark Ferryman.

Dark Ferryman ^{(RARE Death Monster)}

I was kinda looking for a cool card to review which I haven't used in any battle before then I've found this Ferryman who was wandering around the marketplace and it wanted to come to my collection and I was really amazed seeing its visual appearance. It looks like the devil itself is coming to get you through a boat. Then after I checked on it for a moment, I wished to see it on the battlefield so I bought it, and I did a battle where this ferryman helped me win.

I've used this monster in level 1 on the battlefield with 1 ranged attack, 2 speed & 5 health, and it needs 3 mana to join a battle.

A Brief Info About The Match

The battle mana cap was 19 with the "Standard" ruleset where I used the death splinter for the battle and my opponent used the dragon splinter only with some neutral monsters against me.

I've used the Dark Ferryman at the third position with some monsters that I like on the front to support it.

My Lineup.

I had my Haunted Psirit in level 1, Phantom Soldier in level 1, Dark Ferryman in level 1 & Furious Chicken in level 1.

And my opponent had his/her cards as Goblin Mech in level 1, Mantoid in level 1 & Furious Chicken in level 1.

I've used four monsters where one was the Haunted Spirit which is my favorite melee monster of death splinter, then I've used the one and only Phantom Soldier, then the Dark Ferryman which I used at the third position as I didn't want it to get hit from the front position when other monsters are alive and then I didn't have any mana left so I used the Furious Chicken.

Let me talk about cards that I used in this battle.

No 01: HAUNTED SPIRIT ^{(RARE Death Monster)}

This is the melee attacker of death splinter which I use in every battle that I play with death splinter if it's available for that battle. One of the finest monsters of death splinter. I like its power, especially its "Heal" ability.

My HAUNTED SPIRIT is in level 1 with 2 melee attacks, 2 speed, 7 health with the "Heal" ability, and this monster need 5 mana to play.

No 02: PHANTOM SOLDIER ^{(EPIC Death Monster)}

I still remember those days playing battle with death splinter where there was this monster. Then when I added this monster to my deck, I could see its beauty... the beauty in its action. With "flying" ability, this monster is the best fit in the earthquake ruleset and it has so nice powers.

My PHANTOM SOLDIER is in level 1 with 2 magic attacks, 3 speed, 8 health with "Flying" ability, and it needs 8 mana for the battle.

No 03: Dark Ferryman ^{(RARE Death Monster)}

I've used this monster in level 1 on the battlefield with 1 ranged attack, 2 speed & 5 health, and it needs 3 mana to join a battle.

No 04: Furious Chicken ^{(Rare Neutral Monster)}

This is the card that I use when there's a slot left but no mana left. I mean its service is great for free I suppose. Right now... I can't imagine playing a match without this card.
It's like the chicken that lays the golden egg. It provides great support with its counterattack. With 0 mana... it's just amazing.

My Furious Chicken is in level 1 with 1 speed, 1 health and It needs 0 mana to play.

On the battlefield.

For the special buff of my summoner, a ranged monster of my opponent lost 1 ranged attack and my opponent's summoner didn't have any special buff. Then the Phantom Soldier of my team, the most speed holder in both teams started the battle with its first attack on my opponent's Goblin Mech and killed 2 health out of 6 and right after that, the Goblin Mech of my opponent attacked and killed 4 health of my Haunted Spirit out of 7. Then my Dark Ferryman attacked for the first time in my splinterlands gaming history and it successfully destroyed a single shield of Goblin Mech of my opponent (I wish the Dark Ferryman had magic attacks). Then Mantoid of my opponent team attacked my Phantom Soldier but it got success in missing the target and then my Haunted Spirit healed 2 health then attacked and destroyed 2 shields of the Goblin Mech of my opponent. Then another round came and my Haunted Spirit almost got killed in this round as it lost 4 more health when it had only 5 through a big hit of the Goblin Mech of my opponent team. But then my Haunted Spirit got the chance to heal itself again.

Then my Haunted Spirit attacked and destroyed the remaining shield of the Goblin Mech and another round came. My Phantom Soldier attacked and killed the Goblin Mech at that moment and then I got relieved understood that I was gonna win the battle for sure as my opponent had only two monsters where one of em was a ranged monster that stayed in the front position and a ranged monster can't attack from the position and apart of that monster, my opponent had the Furious Chicken without any attacking power. And I still had all my monsters and 3 of them out of 4 could attack.

Then my Dark Ferryman started its attack on the Mantoid of my opponent, then my Haunted Spirit, and then my Phantom Soldier serially attacked and killed that monster easily. Then the last monster of my opponent team came to the front position and my Dark Ferryman threw its ranged attack on that chicken and grilled it with one shot.

The battle got finished in round 4 while my team still had all the monsters alive. It was indeed a fantastic battle that my team fought and the monster that I tried to review in this post also did nice.

By playing this match, I won +0.168 Dec and +40 League Rating.
