Hello

I hope you're having a great day.

Welcome back to my blog where I'll try to review a splinterlands card in every detailed way possible with gameplay with the card and this time I'm going to review the Delwyn Dragonscale.

DELWYN DRAGONSCALE (COMMON Dragon Summoner)

This is the twin brother of Daria Dragonscale and trusts me I got to be sure about it a moment ago after I checked the lore of this summoner. Although I was a big fan of Daria Dragonscale for a long time I didn't know that her twin brother is also summoning dragon monsters in splinterlands. When our favorite @carrieallen, announced the dragon summoner theme for a weekly challenge, I went over to the market and was looking for some cool dragon summoners that I could buy at a low cost. With some other summoners, I've found this one and I didn't know still that he is the twin brother of Daria. I bought a single card of this monster thinking I'll try him on the battlefield later and gonna show him as an entry in the battle challenge but that they ended long ago but still, I thought of doing a challenge with this scary summoner.

So... Delwyn Dragonscale is a common dragon summoner from the promo edition that offers +1 magic attack to all friendly magic attack monsters. I've used this summoner in level 1 on the battlefield.

Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market.

Let me show one of my battle using this card.

Link to the battle.

A Brief Info About The Match

The battle mana cap was 15 with the "Standard" rule where I used the dragon splinter with the death team for the battle and my opponent used the death splinter against me.

I've used two magic attack monsters in this battle to get the extra buff from the summoner.

My Lineup.

I had my Haunted Spirit in level 1, Furious Chicken in level 1, Death Elemental in level 1 & Darkest Mage in level 1.

And my opponent had his/her cards as Undead Rexx in level 1, Cocatrice in level 1 & Creeping Ooze in level 1.

I've used four monsters where two of em had the magic attack, a chicken without any attacking ability, and the Haunted Spirit with the "Heal" ability against an opponent with three monsters where the front monster was harder to take down and all others were so easy to kill. BTW, I don't fear such a lineup when I have my Haunted Spirit on the front but the Undead Rexx of the opponent team seemed real scary.

Let me talk about cards that I used in this battle.

No 01: HAUNTED SPIRIT (RARE Death Monster)

This is the melee attacker of death splinter which I use in every battle that I play with death splinter if it's available for that battle. One of the finest monsters of death splinter. I like its power, especially its "Heal" ability.

My HAUNTED SPIRIT is in level 1 with 2 melee attacks, 2 speed, 7 health with the "Heal" ability, and this monster need 5 mana to play.

Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

No 02: Furious Chicken (Rare Neutral Monster)

This is the card that I use when there's a slot left but no mana left. I mean its service is great for free I suppose. Right now... I can't imagine playing a match without this card.
It's like the chicken that lays the golden egg. It provides great support with its counter attack. With 0 mana... it's just amazing.

My Furious Chicken is in level 1 with 1 speed, 1 health and It needs 0 mana to play.

No 03: DEATH ELEMENTAL (RARE Death Monster)

I don't use this monster so often because of its low powers and cause I already have better options but I think, with proper strategy, this monster can be a great asset, especially in the little league ruleset. Having the"Snipe" ability unlocked at the first level, this monster can be a nice supporter for the team with its magic attack. Its "Snipe" ability helps it to target enemy monsters with ranged, magic, or no attack that is not in the first position. which unlocks at level 1 with 1 card.

My Death Elemental is in level 1 with 1 magic attack, 3 speed, 2 health with "Snipe" ability and it needs 3 mana to play.

Nor 04: DARKEST MAGE (EPIC Death Monster)

This seems the Doctor Strange of splinterlands.

I'm very very thankful to Gerber as he delegated me a Darkest Mage in level 6 and then I started using it and got to know its nice features although I'm using this monster in level 1 right now which I own myself.

This magician is so cool that I wish to play every battle with him/her.

My Darkest Mage is in level 1 with 1 magic attack, 2 speed & health and it needs ONLY 2 mana.

On the battlefield.

My summoner first gave +1 magic attack to two of my magic attack monsters and then for the special ability of the summoner of my opponent, my one and only melee monster which is Haunted Spirit lost a melee attack, and for the special ability of the Creeping Ooze of my opponent, all my monsters that had speed greater than 1 lost 1 speed each. Then the most speed holder, the Death Elemental of my team started the battle with its first attack and killed the Creeping Ooze of my opponent team, and the monsters of my team who lost speed, gained it back, yay. Then Darkest Mage and then Haunted Spirit of my team attacked the Undead Rexx of my opponent team but couldn't drink that much blood which was a bad thing.

Now it was the turn of my opponent. Undead Rexx of my opponent attacked my Haunted Spirit and with one hit, it killed 5 health out of 7.h of my Haunted Spirit, and then my Haunted Spirit had only 2 health left which was not good for sure. But don't you forget that my summoner, Derwyn Dragonscale gave +1 magic attack to two of my magic attack monsters each. With 2 magic attacks, together they've drained 4 health out of 6 of that Undead Rexx and then my Haunted Spirit drained 1 more which left the Undead Rexx with 1 health only. If my Haunted Spirit didn't lose a melee attack then that Undead Rexx was gone for good already.

Then Undead Rexx of my opponent attack and killed my Haunted Spirit and then my Furious Chicken went to the front position and then my Death Elemental attacked and killed the Undead Rexx of the opponent which meant that my opponent had only one monster at that time against three of my monsters. The only monster of my opponent Cocatrice, started attacking for the first time and killed my poor Furious Chicken as soon as it (Cocatrice) had the power to attack. Then my Darkest Mage sent the Cocatrice of my opponent in a mage from where it can't come back again in this battle.

The battle got finished at the end of round 3 while my team still had three monsters alive. This time, the battle was not that easy as the Undead Rexx of the opponent team was doing really good.
