Hello Friends,

MermaidFinal.jpg

This is a drawing of a Mermaid who is Mischievous for the Splinterlands Art Contest for the Week-85 with details available in below link:

Couple of weeks back, I drew a Giant Roc for the same contest, but it wasn't among the chosen 6 as I think that was a bit of off color with just crayons as I couldn't get water colors in time due to lockdown.
But this time, I have ensured I brought some water colors and made the coloring bit more vibrant and hope to be among the chosen ones ;).
OK, So, I gotta draw a Mischievous Mermaid with a little bit different way and here I start with first capture.

A rough outline sketch of face and body.
As we know, Water Splinter is having many beautiful mermaids and the Mischievous Mermaid is one of the beautiful and inspired me to go with this drawing.

Wow, look at that body, people will fall in love with that Mermaid, isn't it?

Mermaid2.jpg

She is a readhead Mermaid and getting colored with a bit of light brown coloring for head and face.

Mermaid3.jpg

Water colors gives more livelihood to the drawings and this drawing proves that.

Now into Mermaid part aka, that fish like lower part and I have also tried to include that trident as well, which is there in the Lore of Mischievous Mermaid.

Mermaid5.jpg

Now, a little background coloring and I felt pink will suite this since the Mermaid colors are bit on lighter side.

Mermaid7.jpg

A little makeup and ornaments addition to the head and face part, love that red flower on her head.

Mermaid8.jpg

Outline is getting drawn to make it more eye catching, look at those eyes.

Final touch up with body and Mermaid part.

Here comes the final one even with Trident getting some outline to make it visible in this drawing.
