Splinterlands Battle - A Battle with Feral Spirit.

You're in the blog of Ismail Fahim.

I'm attending the weekly battle challenge of splinterlands.
This week's theme is Feral Spirit.

Feral Spirit is an alpha/beta monster in life splinter. This is a monster with melee attack and a nice ability.

This can level up to level 10 but for that I need a summoner of higher level also.
I don't have a summoner that's in higher level so I tried this monster on level 1 with my level 1 life summoner.

Power: This is a nice card with 1 melee attack, 4 speed and 2 health in level 1.

Abilities:

Sneak Ability:
Targets the last monster of the enemy team instead of the first monster.

This ability can be found at level 1.

I played with life monster team.

It was a battle of total 22 mana with one rule and that is-
Standard: No modification to the standard gameplay rules and mechanics.

Attack: Melee & Ranged
ABILITIES: Retaliate at level 1; Trample at level 4.

This is a neutral monster, in the first level it has melee attacks (2), ranged attack (1), Speed (3), Health (8).

It has one ability in the 1st level which is-
Retaliate: When hit with a melee attack, monsters with retaliate have a chance of attacking their attacker.
And another ability in the fifth level which is-
Trample: When a monster with trample hits and kills its target, it will perform another attack on the next monster on the enemy team.

This is a life monster, in the first level it has melee attacks (2), Speed (1), Health (4).

Opportunity: Monsters with the opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy monster with the lowest health.

It has one ability in the 6th level which is-
Scavenger: Gain 1 max health each time any monster dies.

It has one ability in the 10th level which is-
Slow: Reduces the speed of all enemy monsters.

ABILITIES: No abilities.

This is a life monster, in the first level it has ranged attacks (2), Speed (3), Health (4).

Battle Details

My Battle

• Round 01
  
  My team started the battle with the first attack with war chaang and then another monster from my team attacked on the same monster but couldn't kill it. Then the enemy monster team attacked some and then my teams cave slug attacked and killed the monster of enemy team that was the target of my team from the very beginning of the battle.

• Round 02
  
  Feral spirit of my team attacked first and started this round and then other monsters of my team attacked and killed another monster of the enemy team. Then the enemy team had only one monster that's unable to attack with ranged power from 1st position.

• Round 03
  
  This was the last monster of the enemy team who got killed in a very short time.
  My team finished the battle in this round.

• Battle Results
  
  I was the winner of that battle with 22 points and 0.031 DEC.

Did my strategy work? What will I try differently next time?

Yes my strategy worked nicely and I might try similar monsters with nice powers next time when I do some battle.
