Oh! You should check out Canva.com. It's a free design site that works IN browser. You can make the perfect sized cover photos for your posts by making a CUSTOM image at 768x432. This is the Golden Ratio and what is used for the Steemit feed. It's pretty user-friendly and they have templates to get your ideas going.
