Saludos amigos, Después de darme una semana de descanso y despejar mi mente, aquí estamos nuevamente. Sigo practicando y desarrollando nuevas formas de hacer las ilustraciones, para esta oportunidad hice una versión de MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE. Quise mantener una paleta de colores dominantemente violeta y azul, también aplique un pequeño filtro azul, es muy sutil, pero ahí está presente.

We begin as always with the sketch, at this point I had in mind to create a lineart on this layer... but later I changed my mind and ended up using the sketch almost in its entirety.

Iniciamos como siempre con el boceto, en este punto tenía en mente crear un lineart sobre esta capa... pero más adelante cambie de parecer y termine usando el boceto casi en su totalidad.

The construction of the nose is very easy, it only requires a small circle and then you draw the rest, unlike the anime version nose this one has a little more detail, I still think both shapes look good.

La construcción de la nariz es muy fácil, solo requiere un pequeño círculo y luego dibujas el resto, a diferencia de la nariz en versión anime esta cuenta con un poco más de detalles, sigo pensando que las dos formas se ven bien.

To draw the lips there are many ways, I draw them directly, but before I used to draw small circles to give it shape as we can see in the images. With time you get used to it and you can draw it without making the circles.

Para dibujar los labios existen muchas formas, yo los dibujo directamente, pero antes solía dibujar pequeños círculos para darle forma como podemos ver en las imágenes. Con el tiempo te acostumbras y puedes dibujarlo sin hacer los círculos

Another important point is that I always correct the sketch several times until I am satisfied with the result.

Otro punto importante es que siempre corrijo varias veces el boceto hasta estar conforme con el resultado.

I change the color of the sketch and apply the first color layer. At this point I want to experiment and not create a lineart in the sketch.

Cambie el color del boceto y aplico la primera capa de color. En este punto quiero experimentar y no crear un lineart en el dibujo

The way to apply the shadows are different from what I usually do, I apply a dark color and then blur, I repeated several times until I got something I was happy with.

La forma de aplicar las sombras son diferente de lo que acostumbro hacer, aplico un color oscuro y luego difumino, repetí varias veces hasta lograr algo con lo que estuve conforme

To make the details I start with shadows that are not very defined and then I apply smaller shadows, but much more defined, the process is repeated in all the areas.

Para hacer los detalles empiezo con sombras poco definidas y luego aplico sombras más pequeñas, pero mucho más definidas, el proceso se repite en todas las zonas

The hair was the most time consuming part, because I had to draw many strands of hair and then give shadows, I liked the result.

El cabello fue la parte que más tiempo llevo, pues debía dibujar muchos mechones de cabello y luego darle sombras, me gusto el resultado

To finish I applied a layer of blue color and gave it the multiply effect, with that a small filter effect is achieved.
The background is inspired by the space, this helps, because it gives a lot of contrast with the light colors of the character.

Para terminar aplique una capa de color azul como y le di el efecto multiplicar, con eso se logra un pequeño efecto de filtro.
El fondo está inspirado en el espacio, esto ayuda, pues da mucho contraste con los colores claros del personaje
