Splinterlands rich rewards keeps my army on the battlefield
Splinterlands game doesn't need any introduction and the game is well established within the Hive blockchain users as well as outside of it considering the integrations with Ethereum, Tron or even Steem. The rewards system kept the armies fighting the good fights and even if there are some voices about it, I must confess that each time after certain changes I've seen the good out of that after some time. And this is quite normal as humans are hard to change their habits, even if it is for their own good.
A season finished in the Splinterlands few days and we've all reaped the rewards and got our treasures. And after such fights some of the armies are resting and only those true to their cause are keep on going. But what the others are missing is the rich rewards which are still left on the battlefield. And in such times I am there fighting and just motivated by the rewards that are pouring in and that I can either invest in the game or outside. So let's just see the results of one of the battles form today.
As you can see this fight got me no less than 110 DEC. If I was to sell just the rewards from this fight at market price I would get 0.66 HIVE. If I was to exchange that for other secondary layer tokens - for example for LEO that would translate somewhere around 0.33 LEO. If I was to extrapolate to 10 winning fights the gain would be as of 1100 DEC -> 6.6 HIVE -> 3.3 LEO. And that not counting the Daily Quest rewards which could bring some real treasures.
With all this in mind is quite hard not to keep on fighting in the Splinterlands when you've grown your army enough to face the greater enemies. Currently I am playing in Gold league and as the season advances I sometimes advance to Diamond and even Champions League. It is not easy doing so, you need to invest a little bit of money and time into your armies but than you make it back and some. And things keep on growing, keep on evolving and it is just a healthy crypto game and ecosystem to be in.

DCity is my list as well although different kind of monster. Nevertheless, both are great games and keep on giving to those riding the horse.

Very true they are different animals. I think my ROI is good for dcity because I got in early like most things in the crypto world.
Indeed the DCity keeps on growing and he stable economics. At the moment I am at about 1000 SIM per day, where are you standing on that?

7000-8000/day depending on war tax.
That is pretty sweet. I've got at some point into the game, but didn't invest enough, nor got my head around it and I didn't do great. I've resumed the game after 2 months afterwards, learn the dynamics and its economics and started to build up and I feel quite good that I've reached 1000 SIM per day.
The good part reaching the know how of the game is that I can do real plans from here on and set my next goal. I am continuously investing in the game at this point so hopefully it will continue to grow and expand.

As a tip, if you fight with Alpha cards, even better, Alpha goldfoil cards, you will have an even higher DEC output. I'm having mostly Alphas and try to upgrade them to Gold. The ROI is not worth, but it is as a value buy, as in time prices increase.

I use a different account for Splinterlands and my main account is valued at $1042.34. I've invested in the game before coming to light and I've build from there, overall I think I have invested up to $200. So only the account investment gave me a x5 return along.

That is a massive return! Are you also into the land grab?
The profit on my side will be on the sell off. This is my plan as at the moment, I've put some good amount of crypto into it. :)

I've grabbed 10 plots, all from the in game returns. I am still building up my main account and some others and once I reach a specific threshold I'll look to expand my investments.
As well I have some SPT tokens delegated which bring my passive income. A great ecosystem around this game, you can reach impressive games if you are into it.

It is a great game. The founders did an impressive job, also inserting enough FOMO to keep investments in. Look at the land grab. Genius moves. The land grab was the last investment into it, now I need to see how to capitalize it.
Where do you delegate your SPT tokens to? That would be an interesting move.

i have almost all alpha summoners, so i almost always get the alpha bonus - but it starts to get spendy to upgrade them .
i think i had almost 40k $dec saved up and blew it all upgrading my summoners LOL

Yes, it is a very expensive game. I bought them early on, when there was only Alpha. Also farmed a lot, as at the beginning there have been Alpha cards as rewards :)

That is good for expanding in the game and investing in it. And if you want you can sell out at any point and I believe you will get a nice return.

I've got a plot but they are a pretty good price on hive engine.
I have a deck valued around 3k and seems to be what it took to get to Champion!
