Splinterlands Land Grab 32 Plots and Counting
There are still many plots left and from what I hear they will be removed come the end of the year. If they don't sell then they don't sell.
It also seems like land wont do anything for anyone until about 6 months from now. This is an early investment which could end up being good or bad. However investments I have made before into Splinterlands has turned out well. It allowed me to fully level up everything in the beta packs that earn me a bonus some times during battles for extra DEC.
Currently I have 32 plots of land and with that a number of raffle tickets which can earn me prizes during the drawings when those take place.
Total cost so far: 448,000 DEC
I'm currently debating on if I want to buy more getting closer to 50 or 100 or to invest that into dCity at the moment and more miners. Perhaps pulling some from Bitcoin and moving it over into these instead.
Lands going to play an interesting part in Splinterlands coming up and I have a strong feeling this game will continue to grow and evolve. This is leaning me towards pushing to 100 plots or 1 tracts of land.
I'm curious if anyone has a region currently. Apparently controlling one means I get to make up the rules for the tracts and plots within it. This could have a massive passive income value to it but I don't yet have enough information as to how land works.

I wouldn't buy anymore of either - the fact that the Land hasn't sold out suggests you might have trouble making a profit out of it.
An investment in Dcity just undermines the price of Hive and thus the platform all this is built on, given the rate Gerber is selling the stuff off.

I think land hasn't sold out is because there's not enough information around it plus it being 6 months away. Most people are short term investors no matter what they might say. Dcity for sure though needs some sinks though. At the moment it just produces a ton of extra SIM which eventually will implode if something is not done about it.
