How did you get here - and why I will continue to be here?

It's been almost a year since I've been on the platform of HIVE, Leofinance, Splinterlands and all its Dapps, there have been so many things, anecdotes and learnings that I would have to make a publication of several parts to cover everything I have lived in this time and especially everything I have learned for myself and for the community.

It has not been an easy journey, but I am absolutely sure that it has been fruitful in many aspects, both economic and financial, as well as educational and social. You meet many people here with multiple talents and I have only absorbed the best in order to move forward and grow in it. For this reason and thanks to this initiative convened by @themarkymark I will tell a little story of Why I am here, and more importantly, why I will continue to be here.

How did I get to the platform?

As I already mentioned, it was a year ago, specifically in the month of May when I was finally able to enter the platform. I have to emphasize that I already knew about it some time ago, however, I did not believe that it was true that you could earn money by just writing about what we like the most, it seemed to me at that time a waste of time, so I simply ignored and moved on with other jobs.

After a while, the user who invited me and managed to bring me to the platform continued to insist, he showed me proof of earnings that he had acquired working in what was STEEM before and in what had become HIVE some time later. This user is @lenonmc21, he showed me and explained me practically all the details of the platform, the Dapps that for him generated more profit and taught me about the content that he embodied in it, this content is finance, trading and investments through cryptocurrencies or other assets that he knows, of course he showed me Leofinance as soon as I entered, and showed me Splinterlands, where I was immediately trapped because I love video games and much more if you can make money with them.

What has happened to me this year in the HIVE Dapps?

Since I started and made my presentation to the community as @lenonmc21 had told me, I had an incredible reception, my publications have collected good votes, maybe not from all the whales that I would like (laughs), but I know that my content has arrived and I am very grateful and satisfied for it, as it has allowed me to solve situations economically speaking on many occasions. Also as I said, I immediately got interested in Splinterlands, I started playing, I received support from great users such as @clove71, I acquired very fast earnings that of course I reinvested to have the opportunity to increase my earnings, something like a kind of compound interest based on cards and/or DECS, where I also created content for this game of course.

In the course of last year I was in Colombia, I was working from there, my connection was very good and I could be really up to date with everything that was happening not only in the platform, but also in the other activities, however, when the holiday season arrived, I decided to return to my native country Venezuela to spend it with my family in such an important time, But the big problem is that since I arrived at the end of December to date, I have not had a fixed internet connection, which prevented me from continuing with the plans and bring more varied content for the platform, I mean something additional to what I was already doing with Splinterlands.

My thought or idea was to join Leofinance and start creating financial content, plus another great idea that came to me about a project, which I can not talk about at this time, as in due time you will find out what it is. Continuing where I left off, my main intention was this, but because of my connection I couldn't do it at the time I wanted to. It was recently, about a week ago that I started my plans where they left off and I have already been able to create financial content even though my connection is not so good and is not fixed.

Why am I still here?

Well, this question is easy to answer. This platform and this project allow me to have a decent job, something secure and constant where I can have my own schedule to be able to perform my duties. These Dapps have brought me more freedom, working from home and having practically control of what I will do every day, which has allowed me to stay motivated to keep going. Of course, the money I have earned has helped me to basically have a salary, which is much higher than what they pay with fiat money in country, so based on all this, there are many reasons to stay here.

Conclusion
