Splinterlands raffle took place last evening (my time) and we all received our bonuses if we had winning tickets. Some nice perks to add to our collections while we wait for the Land Expansion to shape up.
By the way, claiming your winings is mandatory within 30 days, or you will forteit them.
It was calculated that roughly 1 in 15 tickets would be winners.
I have to admit I am one of the few that I heard having a worse ratio. Mine was of 1 in almost 17 tickets winners.
But I don't complain, I'm ok with the distribution of bonuses I received.
The only regret - if we can call it like that - is that I didn't win a legendary totem. Not even an epic one actually.
But I did win 3 land plots, 9 Azmare Dice packs, 10 Untamed packs, 28 common totems and 11 rare totems, as we can see in the screenshot below:
Of these, the land plots and the packs have an estimated value, totems don't yet, but we expect them to be quite useful, so their value should reflect that.
If we are to count only the claims I won for which there is an estimate, we have
3 x 20$ + 9 x 3$ + 10 x 2$ = 107$
That's 10.5% of the value I paid for the tract in the presale. So we can count it as an additional 10.5% 'lucky' discount, right? Without taking in consideration the totems yet.
Not bad, I'd say... 40% discount for being in phase 2 of the presale, 15% for the bulk sale and 10%+ from the raffle.
The curious part is this. If we check the prices of PLOT, TRACT and REGION tokens on the secondary market, we see that plots are currently sold below their presale discounted price, tracts ask price is a little above that but transactions are almost non-existent, while regions are not traded at all and not even bid or ask prices are set (which doesn't exclude the possibility that transactions are happening by direct negociations and payments).
So, what I see from that, is that people with lower investments will be the first to part with their investments, even at a loss, while those with the biggest investments have strong hands and don't even consider selling their land... yet.
The three land plots I won, while I probably won't need them since I have a tract, I won't sell them just yet. They are likely to be worth much more in the future.
