Untamed Airdrop: I got three of those babies!

Splinterlands are still marching along the way. Sometimes they are a bit more prominent in the picture like when the land sale had started. Some other time they are are doing more back ground work and pushing updates with new cards as you can read about it here, but you don't always notice it that much.

I had a bit of a Splinterlands gap honestly when the land sale started and I still don't know if the land ownership will be something for a player like me. That lead to me lagging on doing daily quests, something I had always been doing very consistant over the years

But the weekend there was a nice surprise of the next Untamed airdrop which is every now and then. Whenever a certain amount of Untamed cards is sold you are allegable for an airdrop if you had purchased Untamed cards in the past. Well I did buy a lot of them a while back, and that back 3 pieces of Beatix Ironhand drop into my mailbox. 3 pieces!

And all of a sudden you can also look at Splinterlands also as a passive income kind of situation. Because having bought these cards once last year, has given me a lot of these airdrops actually, which all have their own value.

Say with the purchase of these cards last year I had already gotten atleast $10 of free cards from that over the year, which are some decent stats I would say. And that is even without actually playing these cards.

The good thing is with these airdrops is kind of got my interest back for the game again, even though I always have a tab opened on my phone where the game is opened...It was untouched for weeks.

This was like a wake up call like 'hey dude...you have cards...use them!'

Because I also have some cards leased out which also give me like 1 HIVE passive incoming every 4/5 days which is a nice side hussle, there is also a decent pack with cards waiting to play with every day.

And that also give back some nice returns. I am not talking about the potions ofcourse which have entirely lost their goal since everyone has them until the end of days. But even in my quest there was a gold foil again over the weekend.

What I am meaning to say: Splinterlands hasn't lost their touch and it is profitable for sure. Just use it and let the cards work for you.
