DEC on the rise // Is something happening behind the scenes?

As ive said many times, Splinterlands right now is the best HIVE has to offer.
Ive been listening in into some of their weekly AMAs and i really like how they set everything up. They also shared some very promising ideas for the future im very much onboard with.

While HIVE itself is stuck in a rut and has no clear direction or goal, the Splinterlands team is doing it right.
Thats why ive lately been investing more into Splinterlands and DEC. Ive been following the chart up (DEC went up by 75% in a month) and right now im sitting at almost 1 million DEC with my goal being reaching at least 5 mil.

Atm if you take the arbitrary peg they have 2000 DEC = $2 = 1 pack you still end up at the conclusion that DEC is highly undervalued with 2000 DEC being equal to $1.15 at the time of writing this post.

But thats not really what im basing my bullishness for DEC.

  1. Big and growing player base.
  2. Solid Tokenomics.
  3. Solid gameplay.
  4. Passionate team

If you take all these things into account and remind yourself that DEC hasnt yet been listed on any external exchange, the only stance you end up in is the bullish one..
Just take a look at what simply talks about external listings did to the price of LEO?

What people often forget is that the value of the token isnt only affected by the intrinsic characteristics of the token itself but also by the commitment of the team behind it.

That is a problem HIVE has, that is a problem LEO and Splinterlands do not have.

Once the market corrects itself and actual use cases come to the forefront once again while the slotmachines are pushed to the back i dont see how projects like Splinterlands wont have a boost in attention received.
This game is a success story, one of the very few HIVE has and that will not be able to be ignored for long by the wider crypto market.

I just buy 500 every 4 days for my DCity's Splinterfest. I actually got a pack as a random drop.

The updates were very needed, although I had some doubts about collection score seems doing pretty well with the bots and other kind of abuses that were destroying the game, if they limit the number of matches per season the ravage of bot owners will end, they will still have profits but without corrupting the entire game. The next update, lands and crafting is very promising. Lets see if all works out as planned.

Yep agreed on all fronts. I am a big fan of LEO as well. I wish I could be saying the same things about HIVE.

Seems that the future of HIVE isnt in Hive itself but rather in dapps built on it.

Yea I mean that is pretty much what they have been saying for some time now, just having HIVE be the base layer. Though if that is the case it probably should have a lot less inflation if it's just a base layer...

Having Hive as a base layer is a way to say theyre capitulating from taking HIVE any further from what Dan and Ned did, rather stripping it of features, but they still want to get as much as they can for themselves. Earn passively from the HIVE most of them got in shady ways. Premines, bots, etc.

Its fucked up but at this point i dont give a damn. We have Leo and Splinterlands as something we can be proud of. "The Great Wall of Stupid" can fuck up Hive as much as they want. If they cross the line these two projects can easily leave.

DEC did not raised that much ,it is Hive that tanked so much.

I see DEC at .0059 currently and it is pretty much sailing above .005 for quite some time.

Frankly speaking, when I joined I never read their post but now I read them and I an confused with their post like "staking rewards to gift" ,"0 curation rewards" or "changing this or that" etc etc.
