I just got my first NFT, you can too! / Właśnie zdobyłem pierwsze NFT, Ty też możesz! [EN/PL]
In my last post I mentioned the game Splinterlands as a method of investment (monetary as well as valuable). Today I'll talk a little bit about how right now each of us can become the owner of collectible tokens by playing Splinterlands.
But first a little lesson on what NFT really is. An NFT is a type of crypto token that exists on the blockchain that is unique. Each such collectible cryptocurrency has a unique ID by which we can identify its authenticity unlike conventional cryptocurrencies. We can find them in the form of game cards, artworks, certificates or as Tweet. The first such major project was CryptoKitties, a game based on the Ethereum network that allows you to trade and collect virtual cats. It was this game that heavily loaded the blockchain, which caught the attention of many people.
Back on topic. @davemccoy published a post on Hive announcing a series of tournaments in the game Splinterlands. They are called Spring Training and anyone can participate. Registration for this tournament can be found at this link. This is a so-called No-Lose Tournament, which is a tournament where no matter where you are ranked you will get your entry fee back, in this case 3 DEC. What is important about this tournament is that after completing it we will be honoured with NFT items related to the game Splinterlands. During the tournament, everyone will receive at least 3 NFTs from the limited Spring Training collection. Additionally, the first 100 places will receive 100 tokens depending on their place.
So how do you get these tokens? Very simply. First we need to create our WAX account. We can do this on this page.
There are many ways to register. We can register classically via e-mail, but also via Steam, Google, Facebook or Discord. After logging in, you can find your WAX address on the right-hand side, which is a short set of characters.
On the left side of the screen is the NFTs button, this is where we can check the tokens we currently have. This is how my first Splinterlands NFT looks like! The title perfectly reflects my opinion about the game.
Now we will move on to how you can get your first or next NFT for your collection. First we need to sign up for the tournament I linked earlier. Now we have to write to @davemccoy on discord. His username is davemccoy#2479 and we have to give him our Hive username and WAX wallet address. This way we will receive our first NFT from the Spring Training series and another one after we finish the tournament. I also encourage you to join TeamPossible on discord. There you will find tips on receiving NFTs, using them and other very great news.
In this simple way we became owners of unique NFTs. I feel like a real collector. I hope this post will interest you to learn more about NFT and that we will meet at the upcoming Spring Training tournament. It starts in less than two days so hurry up, the number of places is limited!

W moim ostatnim poście wspominałem o grze Splinterlands jako metoda inwestycji (pieniężnej jak i wartościowej). Dziś nieco opowiem o tym jak już teraz każdy z nas może stać się właścicielem kolekcjonerskich tokenów grając w Splinterlands.
Najpierw jednak mała lekcja o tym czym tak naprawdę jest NFT. NFT to taki rodzaj tokenu kryptograficznego istniejący na blockchainie, który jest unikalny. Każda taka kolekcjonerska kryptowaluta ma swój unikalny kod, po której możemy zidentyfikować jej autentyczność w przeciwieństwie do konwencjonalnych kryptowalut. Możemy je spotkać w postaci kart do gier, dzieł sztuki, certyfikatów czy jako Tweet. Pierwszym takim dużym projektem było CryptoKitties, gra oparta na sieci Ethereum, która pozwala handlować i zbierać wirtualne koty. To właśnie ta gra bardzo obciążyła blockchain, co przyciągnęło uwagę wielu ludzi.
Wracając do tematu. @davemccoy opublikował wpis na Hive ogłaszając serię turniejów w grze Splinterlands. Nazywają się one Spring Training i może w nich wziąć udział każdy. Zapisy do tego turnieju znajdują się pod tym linkiem. Jest to tak zwany No-Lose Tournament, czyli turniej, w którym nie ważne od miejsca w rankingu otrzymamy z powrotem nasze wpisowe, w tym wypadku 3 DEC. Co jest jednak ważnego w tym turnieju to to, że po jego ukończeniu zostaniemy uhonorowani przedmiotami NFT związanymi właśnie z grą Splinterlands. W trakcie niego każdy otrzyma co najmniej 3 NFT z limitowanej kolekcji Spring Training. Dodatkowo, 100 pierwszych miejsc otrzyma 100 tokenów w zależności od zajętego miejsca.
Jak zatem otrzymać te tokeny? Bardzo prosto. Najpierw musimy założyć swoje konto WAX. Zrobimy to na tej stronie.
Do wyboru mamy wiele możliwości rejestracji. Możemy się zarejestrować klasycznie za pomocą E-Maila jak również dzięki Steam, Google, Facebook czy Discord. Po zalogowaniu po prawej stronie będziemy mogli znaleźć swój adres WAX, to ten krótki zbiór znaków.
Po lewej stronie ekranu znajduje się przycisk NFTs, to tutaj możemy sprawdzić aktualnie posiadane tokeny. Tak prezentuje się moje pierwsze Splinterlands'owe NFT! Tytuł idealnie odzwierciedla moją opinię o grze.
Teraz przejdziemy do tego jak Wy możecie zdobyć swoje pierwsze bądź kolejne NFT do kolekcji. Najpierw musimy zapisać się turnieju, który podlinkowałem wcześniej. Teraz musimy napisać do @davemccoy na discordzie. Jego nazwa użytkownika to davemccoy#2479. Musimy podać mu swoją nazwę użytkownika Hive oraz adres portfela WAX. W ten sposób otrzymamy swoje pierwsze NFT z serii Spring Training oraz kolejne po ukończeniu turnieju. Zachęcam Wasz również do dołączenia TeamPossible na discordzie. Tam znajdziecie porady odnośnie odbierania NFT, korzystania z nich oraz innych aktualnościach.
W ten prosty sposób staliśmy się właścicielami unikatowych NFT. Czuję się teraz jak prawdziwy kolekcjoner.
