Splinterlands, Uncontrollable urge to open packs.....

As we all know, Untamed packs of Splinterlands has been sold out few days back. Last 100k's sold out quite fast as if it was the end of the world. It is probably a good thing and now that the sold have been complete, the value of these packs has been increasing lately. It has happened in the past with Beta booster packs, Alpha packs and now I might say, "History is being repeated". I was able to buy few packs before running out of the time. Although I wanted to get some more before this sell out but seems like I was little late.

I initially was thinking to keep them for long term but I have been already opening the packs one by one. Even though, I do not want to open the packs but seems like it is quite difficult to stop thyself from opening them. ;(. I already opened 20% of my packs and I was lucky enough to get a legendary among those packs and these were the last few packs which I opened few minutes back and seems like not much luck is in there with me.

The only pack which got me triggered among today's packs was the last one. I got TORTISIAN CHIEF, EPIC Neutral Monster. Since I am not going to hold much GF cards, I will probably put it on market and use that amount of DEC to purchase something else for other cards.

NFT's

One important issue which I have noticed over the last few weeks, NFT's are going to make a huge impact in the coming days. Even though the use case of them are still limited and sometimes getting rid of them becomes a huge burden. But coming to think about the market, the price of these certain NFT's stay stable even when the market has dropped down significantly. Which kind of acts as an assets which you can somehow rely upon compared to alt's or BTC. Not that I am saying they can be used as GOLD or certain assets but these tokens can be used in ways where they become a huge assets to us all in difficult times. Kind of like a back up in dire need. I wish I had enough to get into different NFT platforms when the price dipped! But than again this is just the beginning! More to come for us.

I am currently getting excited to get into gaming sector much more. As few mistakes that were made by me in the past has eventually given me a deep lesson. Learned a lot from those mistakes and hopefully they will help me in the coming days. Cheers to that!
