Will I regret selling this Summoner?!? Anyone Fancy Building me an App that'll tell me?
I was surprised to see almost 70K DEC in my account when I logged in a couple of days ago, turns out it was because of a card that sold I'd put on the market and just forgotten about:
I put this level 8 common summoner on the market months ago, it may even have been in 2020 sometime, it was THAT along ago I can't remember.
I do remember I put it on the market because I'd just bought a maxed one, it's quite handy this plus one magic dragon summoner, especially when you don't have a maxed Alric, which I don't!
A good time to sell?
TBH I've no idea! I'd obviously priced it at what I thought was a good profit at the time, probably not expecting it to sell, but here we are and it's gone through!
The sale price was...
67 100 DEC or $87.40 for a Level 8 Common dragon summoner, around $0.30 BCX at time of writing)
I've decided to plough most of that DEC into the DEC-BUSD pool on Cub....
I took 53K DEC (a completely arbitrary number I know, based on '50K plus a little bit more and leaving me some to trade for a few other cards) and pooled it with BUSD on Cub, currently yielding at 64% per annum and paying in Cub, which I will farm.
NB I didn't have to swap any DEC I had the corresponding BUSD kicking around. It's also interesting to note that although I've just added 50K DEC, I remember that figure being around 400K dead a few days ago, people are actually BUYING DEC AT A PREMIUM!
Now all I need do to work our my relative returns on that 53K DEC is..
- multiply the Cub I earn in that farm by (53K DEC/ Total DEC)
- then factor in the change in DEC price
- and any impermanent loss from the pool
- and then compare that the to the change in price of the BCX price of the summoner I sold.
Anyone fancy building me an App?

I'd love an app that could work out the figures for my gains/losses in the DEC/BUSD pool. I try and do it by hand some time. I'm planning on topping it up at the end of this season.
That was a great sale! This is the first time I've been really tempted to sell some of my cards. I think the price of many of the less popular ones will drop once Chaos is out.
I'll probably just hold onto them though. Trading is not my forte. 😁

I don't know how much your cards are worth, mine's saying $17K - Think what an idiot I'd feel if it all crashed and I hadn't taken out at least a few hundred!

The prices are amazing currently. Never regret a good sell dude. The moment is never perfect but this one is good!

Somewhere along the line you should be happy with the profit and take it. otherwise what are we doing :D
I remember spending about $0.17 per card during the promo in which it came out. It was a really bad deal back then and everyone was complaining that so many of them were printed. Still 52k in circulation. Now a single BCX is at $1.69. I still own 1182 BCX regular foil and one max gold foil. That is the only card I still own so many copies of it.
Holy shit that's a lot!
I can't even remember the summoner's name, I use him that little.
Still, it's about the profit here, I can't complain selling something when it's gone up more than 10 times and it's only one of many!
