DEC now on Uniswap

The latest release from the team at @Splinterlands is that DEC can now be traded on Uniswap.

In a nutshell, you can now send DEC directly from the Splinterlands platform to your Ethereum address and then either swap them for $ETH on Uniswap or provide liquidity to the pool. You will need to link your ETH wallet to your Splinterlands account first.

If you provide liquidity then you will be in the running for additional rewards.

3,000 plots of land from the upcoming Splinterlands land sale have been set aside as rewards for Uniswap DEC liquidity providers. That's $60,000 worth of land at full retail price according to the official Splinterlands post.

As a result of the announcement, the DEC market has seen a spike in prove on hive-engine.com.

Providing the opportunity to trade DEC on Uniswap will open the market to more users, much like what has happened to $wLEO, and will provide some arbitrage opportunities for traders as well.

Any punters wanting to trade will need to have some chunks of $DEC as the gas fees will take a piece of any profits to be made, which essentially cuts out some of the smaller users of the platform.

With the pre-sale of land coming up shortly as well, I think we will see people provide liquidity for the pool and then pull their $DEC to buy land. The opportunity to purchase land will be an interesting one and will provide another sink for $DEC and I'd expect the price to jump towards the 0.001c price and maybe it will jump some more.
