Cub Finance Experience + Farming with DEC Now Possible!

10 days ago, I have tried stepping into the Defi world and wow every day has been exciting. At the time of writing back then, the ROI was 2000%+ with my Eth staked in the den. Thinking to myself I'm all set, I'll get my 4% fee returned in a day which it did. Now as of writing now, it has dropped to 200+% which is 10% of what it was 10 days ago. I did say I got my fees back in a day so anything now moving forward is just pure ROI. I moved around trying different pools and now have my cubs in a few pools. Then the news came when we can mine Cubs with DEC-BUSD!

That is great news for Splinterland players and are fans of the LEO project. Another way to earn these precious Cubs but at the same time holding some DEC paired with BUSD which is pretty stable. The only disappointment is that when I woke up to the news this morning, the ROI has dropped to 700+% which for me was a bit too late. Looking at the ROI, it is still currently over 1.6% daily so that is still a pretty good figure considering if the ROI doesn't continue to drop like the other pairs/dens. As a Cub holder and fan of Splinterlands, I hope the new users from Splinterlands can see how much effort the LEO team have built up their brand and project and to get where they are is a big achievement.
There is still an opportunity at the moment provided the calculations are done correctly. Currently I don't have enough DEC to make a significant change to my daily Cub mining so I'll probably wait till I have more DEC then dip my toes in. For those that started during the time I was sleeping, they have fetched the best ROI and I wish I have stayed up for it! Looking at what I have at the moment, the Cubs in my den are working nicely with one of my liquidity pool still giving me an acceptable ROI at the moment. Come Monday we will see how the price of Cub goes as it will start producing 1 cub per block which is half of what we are receiving now. The price of Cubs at the time of writing is close to $3 which I hope will go back up to get a better upwards trend for the token. I think once the audit results are released, people will be more confident with Cubs and can see the full potential of the project and team.

Ive just been dipping my toes in to all this as well. My first time in Defi! But I wasnt as smart as you.... I invested in CUB while it was more expensive and didnt dare put any other currencies in. Wrong way Round! haha. Since then I have watched the CUB go down in price and all that big ROI pass me by as it has dropped day by day. Still, its all a learning process for me, and I still plan to stake some ETH and some DOT. I just cant always face too many learning curves at once, and it seems like a slightly convoluted journey to get from my bittrex account to my CubFinance.
Well done for taking the plunge so early like a proper Lioness!

Oh yes totally a learning process for all. I wasn't understanding at first but with the help of the community its easy once you understanding it. I think the den is a great way to get "passive" income provided you are ok with the funds sitting in the den so I prefer to leave mine in there.

yeh same here.... plus I cant really afford to invest in all the BNB and USBT stuff right now for getting involved with the farms. Baby steps! I love the Den : )
