Splinterland FOMO Continues ….

Last week I bought a whole heaps of cards and so far they are doing well keeping their value and I’m happy with the purchase. FOMO continues this week with spending some spare Hive in Hive-engine and got some extra Untamed packs and a plot of land. I’ve already got a tract and a plot from the raffle but thought might as well use the hive to get what I can afford since it is still sitting there. Obviously I am taking a gamble to see if any of them will increase in price and the plot of land hoping I can get something good from it. Hopes aren’t high but you need to be in it to win it right?

The prices of anything related to Splinterlands have been very steady. My plot of land is currently worth $15USD and is holding up pretty well. This price is way more affordable than those being sold on the WAX platform so I’m glad to get a hold of another 1. You can steadily see the price of PLOTs have gone up over the last month after it has been sold out from the office Splinterland website. From past history of other blockchain games, anything involving land does very well and for the price we are paying now, it may turn out to be a mini gold mine in itself.

The other thing to keep an eye out for is the DEC prices. With SPS coming out very soon, every bit each player holds of anything Splinterland related gives them a share of the token. Prices have been holding very steady at $0.0010 or over. If you see the charts, since the announcement of SPS, the prices have been going up steadily. Remember every bit counts so hold off selling DEC if you want a share of the daily airdrops. I did spend most of my DEC last week getting the batch of cards but I am back at it hoarding whatever I can for the airdrop.

Lastly, Untamed packs were sold out a few weeks ago and I was happy I bought 100 (plus the 10 bonus) before its sold out overnight. From past experiences, these packs go up with crazy prices so I don’t want to give up not this opportunity. I also used whatever Hive in Hive-engine and got a few more packs, saving them for a raining day. Prices of packs have been going up steadily and can see that many new players have also asked about packs so the only place to buy them is really the secondary market. I really hope my investments pay off because I don’t think I have spent so much time, money and energy on a game for a very long time, if ever. See you on the battlefield!
