The Secret @splinterlands Developers Are Hiding from You | Major Updates in Work

This is not some new discovery for me. I discovered this while searching around HIVE-Engine last year. I didn't make any articles about it. So far I'm seeing zero evidence of anybody else talk about this. Yesterday I made a report on my Raffle winnings. You can read about it in detail here. I was planning to talk about these hidden details. I told @mimismartypants I will post about it these secrets and here we are:

When I first discovered the unannounced updates on https://hive-engine.com/?p=tokens we didn't even have those Totems ready for trading. Let's start with the details we already know about.

Land Plot - The Basic Unit

Tract = 100 Land

Region = 10 Tracts

Currently there seems to be only space for 100,000 Land Plots. I don't know the reason for it. The rest seem to align well with 150,000 Plots released in Praetoria. There were mentions that these will be treated much like how Alpha packs were treated. We should be able to expect bonuses as other things join the @splinterlands gameplay ecosystem.

The Developers have A Vision

When it comes to cryptocurrency projects, there is a tremendous value in betting on the slow and steady tortoise that can end up beating the sleeping rabbit. @splinterlands has managed to beat all the other well funded games and come a long way from selling few Alpha packs that were only pretty to look at.

I think the developers are looking to see and release the Land Expansion and tailor rest of the sales based on the feedback. Markets are complicated. You can't simulate them on spreadsheets despite what Keynesians and communists would want you to believe. The best thing to do is let the players play and trade and learn through them.

I'm Already Working on Other Investments

There are many hidden gems to @splinterlands Most people don't even talk about these. I would like to present you some of them and reveal even more opportunities. If you don't want any detailed articles, I will save you time and drop the names.

ZONE was the original name for REGION and SECTOR for TRACT. Or the other way around. But they changed them.

Thank you for this information! Zones have a larger supply than Sectors. So I assume Zones were the original name for Tracts. The supply seem very low. I was thinking of Zones being different islands and Sectors being like continents of @splintelrands. It could be a great setup.

I've seen plots before but these other tokenised land elements. Very exciting - do you know anything more Mystery Potions and Splinterstorm Skins??
