This league is not based around financial rewards and relates to engagement.
Everyone currently on my master list has a chance here - including those powering down or dealing in delegations over the past couple of weeks.
I've used some metrics relating to:
- Posts (P)
- Comments - number of (C)
- Number of people spoken to (PS)
- Comments - replies to replies - depth > 2 (C R)
- Comments - length in characters (C L)
- Witness votes (W) (for those proxying witness votes, your total is always 30)
- Up-votes to others (V)
- Up-votes to different authors (U V)
- Self-votes - No minus score but no bonus STEEM (S V)

Once upon a time I could have, not these days. I do try and put out something decent daily though - perhaps a little more often than that at times too - depending on the feels :)
I never want to be one of those people who comment just to get up the top of the League - I do so for my own enjoyment and to engage with people I have relationships with or noobs that catch my attention. Obviously having a job 10 hours a day makes it more difficult to rack-up numbers, but I'm actually happy with my commenting, the frequency, quality and spread so...Yeah, that's about it.

Are those weekly numbers correct, the only change was in the number of accounts that earned a score, (2 less), all the others the same, were we all really that consistent? If so that has to be some sort of a record.
Congratulations everyone. I am looking forward to see what the merger of steemit.inc and Tron will really mean. I don't think we need to be to concerned but one does need to be aware and make what ever changes they need to.

You know, it's not the way I would go about marketing, because it's rather cheap and insensitive, but saying something and then saying something else, and then saying the first thing again and then removing it from view does seem to have EVERYONE talking about it.
At least on STEEM.
So, whether it's cool or not, or more bush league than anything, or even if it's intentional (maybe there's not a solid English speaker or fact checker among them), it's certainly been pretty effective so far. I haven't seen so many so hyper alert about any one particular thing here since...
I can't think of anything.
Problem is, I'm not sure what to do about it. Proceeding as normal, as some are saying, watching and waiting, as others say, or powering down in full blown panic or rage mode—none of it seems to be exactly gratifying or comforting.
I mean, when are we supposed to know before it's too late that something is happening?
We haven't heard a peep out of the @steemitblog folks.
We don't have Ned around anymore, who was at least more of a known quantity.
Lots of talk about voting witnesses. Funny how that works. A lot of the community, not that long ago, weren't very happy with the witnesses. Some of them actually have been witnesses elsewhere, too, which could include TRON. I mean, if voting witnesses is our only major line of defense against what ever J-Sun might have brewing, I don't know.
Not very comforting.
So, I suppose everyone needs to choose their own path, listen to their own inner voice, try to make their way in a time of true uncertainty (bear market, what's that?), but that's hard to build consensus or community around, too.
I wasn't for hardforking anyone's stake. If you can do it once, you can do it again and again. It's kind of like the nuclear option.
The only alternative is somehow countering a purported 75 million SP (or at least it's supposed to be powered up—I haven't found it yet, but I'll admit to being a little blind when it comes to database searching). If it's all liquid STEEM sitting on an exchange somewhere, well, as far as I know, you can't vote witnesses with that (although I suppose it would be easier to just bribe them with).
Anyway...

P.S. I'd like to say this too shall pass. I suppose it's too early in the game, but this feels a tad different. Guess we'll see just how resilient our community and our witnesses truly are.

I must say i'm feeling a little low at present, but I think that is one of the feelings change can bring along.
There is really no-one who can confidently say what will happen ahead, but I think the best approach for all of us is to change little to our daily/weekly routines, and that goes for Steemit inc (been vocal since your comment), and Justin himself.
