Hello steemians!

We are now back to our regular programming. The last two weeks was a little bit of a whirlwind of emotions, but I think it's time to continue with the usual posting habit. I'm sure a lot of people in this community (if not all) wouldn't want anyone to ruin what was built in this blockchain. I actually made a post about my take on the current change that happened. If you want to read it, you can find it here:

Now, there's still that lingering uncertainty on what would happen in the coming days, but I would leave that to those with valid concerns. I'm fine for now.

Also, a lot of things had happened to me on a personal level over the past two weeks. I'm not sure if I will be able to share them here, but I'm sure the past two weeks have been eye-opening and I learned a lot about myself. I'm excited as to where this would lead me, but I'm also anxious of what might happen. It has been a tug-of-war between between my adventurous self and my calculating self. Anyway, let's go to the main part of this post.

In this post, it will be about our last night in Davao City where we explored People's Park and had some food trip at Roxas Night Market. As Roxas Night Market is a little bit huge (occupying one avenue in Davao City), we only explored a very tiny portion of the whole night market. We were so tired that we just went directly to the street food section.

I had a similar experience with street food tripping which I shared before via my Definitely Cebu series. I'll just share the link here in case you haven't read them yet:

Roxas Night Market starts at a junction near Marco Polo Hotel and stretches up to one kilometer at Roxas Avenue in Davao City. If you're a fan of authentic street food offerings in the region, Roxas Night Market is a place to go. There's local street food, staple barbecue, halal street food, fresh seafood selections and other refreshments.

Roxas Night Market is a feast of the senses. The selections of street food are very varied. Food stalls are jam-packed and the smell of grilled food emanates from the air. It was livelier than the night market here in Colon, Cebu City.

Since the street is packed, there's no place to wash the dishes. You're expected to eat with your hands that's wrapped in a thin plastic gloves. For those who haven't tried eating with their hands yet, it will definitely add to your Pinoy experience. We Filipinos loved to eat with our hands. No utensils needed.

In terms of price, it's really cheap. If you have Php 100.00 (2 USD), you can have a decent meal where you will really be full. Smoke from grilled food rise up from the stalls so it gets a little smoky, but it adds an overall appeal to the whole place.

At the end of the food stalls, clothes and accessories begins. It's all for a very cheap price but you have to sift through hangers and piles of clothes to find anything to your liking. We didn't explore that part of the market because we were so exhausted and our goal was just to try the street food.

The night market is open everyday from 6:00 PM until midnight. It gets really crowded during the weekend so if you love the buzz, you can choose to visit during weekends and holidays. Just take note that security can be tight at the entrance.

I guess that's all for this post. I hope you'll like it. If you do, leave a comment down below and show some love. Next post will be under my Definitely Cebu series. I'll be introducing another public beach located in the north of Cebu. It has made a buzz lately on social media because of its beauty and it has no entrance fee. Stay tuned folks!
