What a Lovely Airdrop

Splinterlands is the gift that keeps on giving and every day, I get to enjoy this dividend from playing ranked battles. The battles can be very frustrating and to make them simple, we upgrade cards and hope for the best. Benefiting from Airdrops isn't something I envisaged would be happening to me so often because, for the most part, I spend only little amount of money in the game.

The only time I ever invested "heavily" in the game was in the Mimosa Nightshade airdrop where I spent 400 Hive on DEC to buy untamed packs and increase my chance of winning the airdrop. I won that airdrop, and then in the next airdrop for Chanseus, I rode my luck one more time and still got that summoner. I sold him for $15 but it was for the best.
The latest airdrop happened yesterday and to my surprise, my luck hadn't run out because I didn't get one but three of the latest edition of the untamed legendary summoners called Lir Deepswimmer

I was totally shocked and positively overwhelmed by this because I didn't even buy up to 10 untamed packs prior to the airdrop.

I didn't get one but three of the new card, and so I did what felt right and took it up to level 2 immediately.

The summoner is currently listed at $10 but I reckon the price will go up a little bit more in the coming days. There will be a lot of buzz about it and I intend to increase that buzz by spreading "marketing" videos of the summoner in battle. I'll be watching the market to see how things go, and if it goes up in the coming days, then I'll sell it at a fair price, say around $40 -50 range for the level2 version. Fingers crossed.
