SHARE YOUR WEEKLY SPLINTERLANDS BATTLE CHALLENGE: Equalizer and target practice rules

Big kudos to the splinterlands founder and their amazing team, the weekly battle challenge is helping player to improve their writing skills and they also earn for getting better at creating content which is so amazin! that is like a win streak...

This week challenge is kinda different as this is the first time we will be getting a rule instead of the usual monster that we do get, nothing spoil either it is rule or battle, we are going to make splinterlands carrie setting this up know we are capable of everything lol..

Equalizer rule is when all the monsters have the same health base with the monsters with the highest base in either team. i like this rule but it is not my favorite because sometimes i do get confused on the set up and what confuses me most is whether to use failed summoner or cocatrice!

The reason for the confusion is that if the opponent comes with magic monsters then failed summoner should have been the right summoner to use but if the opponent comes with range and melee then coca ought to be the one i use but i am not a seer to know what the opponent will come with!

I did get a rule that has equalizer as one of the two rules given while the second rule was target practice which means all range and magic attacks have snipe.. To make the matter worse it was a low mana cap battle of 13 so i really have to be careful with my pick...

Line up

  • COCATRICE

The cocatrice is well know for its speed and dodge ability which makes it invicinble to melee and range attack monsters in battle and with the equalizer rules, it becomes formidable and one more advantage , hence why i placed it in the front as i know the opponent front monster won't be able to take it down on his own..

  • FURIOUS CHICKEN

The furious chicken is the most used card on splinterlands as it cost no mana, i decided to render my chicken more useless by not upgrading it to have a melee attack cos i like it that way cos of rules like this, without its melee attack it becomes a non attack monster hence opponent monsters will target it first in snipe rules if i place it as my second card which is exactly what i did to delay the enemy from getting to my fighting monsters.

  • EARTH ELEMENTAL

The earth elemental has long life with healing ability so it can definitely withstand more attack and that is the reason why i placed it as the third card so once the chicken is down, the next monster the opponent will attack will be my earth elemental that is equally prepared and ready for any attack coming its way....my oponent didn't come with any range or magic monsters tho hence he escaped all my snipe trap lol but what he used was worst, he came with all melee and my cocatrice was there to stop them..

  • KHMER PRINCESS

The set up is not complete without the princess because she has the major task to perform in the battle, her duty is to replenish the life of the monster at the front and also any monster behind that has suffered the most damage, so it is really very important in this equalizer and snipe rule set and it did not fail me as it did greatly to restore health lost to the opponent..

  • GOBLIN CHEF

I fear the enemy may come with a one man army kron and that is why i use the goblin so it can afflict it and stop the monster from causing fatal damage and also any healing monster use by the opponent will be afflicted by my goblin so it is a very useful card.

My strategy work perfectly and if i get such a rule again, i will still go with the same line up again and again!
