Happy weekend splinterlands nerd, this week battle challenge was spiced up a bit and it is good that we can write about something kinda different from what we used to do, so we will be talking about scavengers on splinterlands and why we love using them......

The scavenger ability was introduced during the untamed edition and it is one of the best ability on splinterlands, the monsters with the ability gains one max health any time a monster dies which makes them last longer in battle and they could be a time waster with all the life they have gained as it will take time before they get taken down.....

Each splinter have their own scavenger and my favorite is the screeching vulture of the earth splinter but still will list everything and describe which battles they are good in

• ANT MINER OF THE FIRE SPLINTER

The ant miner belongs to the fire splinter and it has one more ability which is shield which makes it harder to take down, i mostly use it in low mana cap battle and it will be a bonus if it is a no magic rules, i use it often too as it helps in delaying the opponent attack from other monsters on my team..

• FEASTING SEAWEED

* This is the water scavenger but i hardly use it because the water splinter is known for their prowess in magic battles but i make use of it in untamed only tournament and it is a good card...*

• SCREECHING VULTURE

My favorite of all the scavengers and that is because the earth splinter have the right low mana cap monsters that makes it a good combo in battles and with the presence of mylor, the earth splinter can be undefeated in most battles....

• MAGGOTS

Just like the water seaweed, i don't use maggot much in ranked battles but it is useful in untamed only tournament, it has opportunity ability which makes it target the opponent weak monsters..

I had a battle with monsterstales and it was a blast rule that was given so i didn't bother to use an healer because it won't be given a opportunity to heal, i went all speed, speed wins in the blast rule....*

• SET UP
• FURIOUS CHICKEN AND FAILED SUMMONER

The chicken was placed in the front as a sacrifice to take the first hit for the team and failed summoner is used against the magic reflect monsters the opponent will use and also it helps to reduce the melee power of the opponent monsters...

• SWAMP THING AND SCREECHING VULTURE

The swamp thing is needed specially for its slow ability because i have to attack first if i want to win the battle and the vulture has got some good speed and coupled with the fact that it will attack the monsters with the weakest life, it boost my confidence..

• BROWNIE AND CHILD OF THE FOREST

All for speed, the brownie have the ability to increase the team speed and that is why i use it, it can also inspire the vulture melee attack and the child of the forest has snipe abiliy, if the opponent use a range or magic attack, one attack from the child will be hitting three of the opponent monster because of the blast rule..

The opponent also use two monsters with slow ability but my monsters were still faster because i selected the fast monsters in the earth splinter, i was victorious!
