The birth of a winner
Happy sunday famz, today turn out to be an auspicious day as so many things happened ranging from being the 2nd position in the champion's leaderboard ranking to the good season reward, if only all days can be like today lol, oh well let us dig in to see how it all happened....
It all started yesterday. i was able to get 5050 points and also that points made me the first on the leaderboard leading the rest with nothing less than 50 points but i know that is not the end in respect of jace, bj and smk that are well known for the top three position and i know they are coming for me but i was also expecting them... i keep checking on the leaderboard, sooner jace started playing and within some time he was able to cross 5000 points but once he is about meeting up with me, he get defeated and hence lose many points which he needs to recover, smk and bj didn't play at that time, it was around 9 p.m my time so needed to sleep as season ends in the morning....
I was surprised by the time i woke up around 6 a.m to see smk leading me with 1 points and when i also checked jace battle log, he has actually beat my points but didnt stop playing which made him drop again, bj also played but couldn't meet up, it got more interesting when hossain join the chase, it has become five men competing for the top 3. who are the two that will left out? this is where skills and wisdom must be applied...
Oh well it was 2 hours left for season end, jace actually pass my points like three times and dropped again, bj hit 5047 points and if he had won his next match he woulld have surpass mine and smk points and i know he would stop playing but unfortunately he lost the match and that was the last time he got so close till the season end and he could have been third but hossain didn't give him chance as he took it from him towards the last minutes and by the time the timer stopped, hmmmmmmmmmmm
Smk was first and i took second, my winning streak is amazing too isn't it? lol and hossain took third... Quite nice to see the leaderboard change for the season...
i have been trying to be in the top 3 since 3 seasons ago but it never worked, i always end up in top 4 or 10 but i never give up, winners never quit and quitters never win, my persistent finally paid with the 2nd position and this is a great milestone in my splinterlands career....
It got more interesting in the day when shoe claimed the season reward and three rare golds dropped in a row in the loot chest and also got 5 additional packs in the loot chests, it is indeed a wonderful season!
