The guy that knocks your enemies down

Have you got this card from playing quests? A gold foil one. Man, you are lucky indeed but as they say, it is sometimes tough to level up the gold. So, go for the normies and it is worth every dec.

Why?

Knock out ability at level 4

PYROMANCER
Pyromancers travel everywhere in pursuit of their grand goal of healing the Splinterlands. They care little for people, but feel connected to the hot pulsing magma that pumps deep underneath the planet's shell. They travel about the land purifying the land through ancient rituals and spiritually guiding the magma to the surface. It's best to avoid them if possible as receiving a magma purification ends poorly for most, but they too look for "that which was Splintered to be made whole" and for their service, most leave them be.

For a long time, I had ignored this card, thinking that I did not have a good summoner but after I got one that used the fire monsters' abilities too well, it was time to think of leveling up my fire guys as well. That is when I started to buy cards slowly and now am building up my fire guys. First the beetle, now the pyromancer. Slowly, I must also level up others like the fire demon and also the grumpy who helps me a lot.

Newbie tips

  • Try to level up neutral monsters so that you can use those in almost all except the no neutral ones
  • Try to make sure you have enough of both slow speed and high-speed monsters
  • Make sure you understand all rulesets like the earthquake rule which works if you have monsters with flying ability but it does not mean you can use only those. Sometimes, it is better to use others too
  • The knockout rule is the trickiest and so, you should learn as you play but using the giants like cyclops, the dwarfs, the pixies are beneficial and some do get the knock out ability as you level up. You can get to see who are among these by checking in monstermarket.io

I'm having trouble keeping up with the new cards, been renting out my deck instead. I would love to start playing again though. Has the new cards brought down older cards value in your opinion? That's the main concern I have with owning some beta cards

no, just the opposite. Beta cards are very highly valued still and even though the new cards are cheaper and used by many, it gets beaten by both alpha and beta, mercilessly. You can also consider giving it out as TS or team share
