Time for the SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge.

For this weeks battle challenge we are gonna go with the awesome, ENCHANTED DEFENDER. Although inherently weak but if used tactically, ENCHANTED DEFENDER can prove to be a real asset. At Lev-5 it gets truly dangerous due to Thorns ability.

This steaming and sputtering pile of power is the result of years of secret Gloridax experimentation. The Enchanted Defender combines the latest magical technologies (stolen from Azmare) with indestructible metals from the quarries of Khymeria. Its Power Core is made from the concentrated sap of the Burning Land’s Everburning Trees, and spied gear systems from Gobson have provided its complex inner-working. The Dragons named it "Defender" as a sort of cruel mockery, knowing full well that it was designed to destroy.

I own just lev-7 ENCHANTED DEFENDER, which is sufficient for me up till gold league.

Currently there are 25,651 normal foil ENCHANTED DEFENDERs in circulation, costing 0.043$/BCX. Gold Foils are less abundant with 1,188 in supply and costs 2.45$/BCX.

`Favored Battle Rules`

ENCHANTED DEFENDER is best suited in Equalizer, Armored up, Up Close & Personal, Weak Magic, Lost Magic and Equal Opportunity battle rulesets.

`Placement`

Since ENCHANTED DEFENDER has only one health and heavy shield so its needs to be protected from magic attacks. As far as melee and ranged attacks are concerned it can take a beating.

In low mana battles the chances of encountering low health sneak and opportunity monsters are high so ENCHANTED DEFENDER can play a nice role in back of the row countering Sneak and Opportunity attacks.

ENCHANTED DEFENDER can be used as an awesome Sneak Attack protection because of Thorns ability. In Equalizer battle rule it can also be used as a attack tank. The efficacy of ENCHANTED DEFENDER increase many fold in battles with Lost Magic, Weak Magic or Up Close & Personal rulesets.

Low health of ENCHANTED DEFENDER means it attracts the Opportunity attack monster and provides the friendly Opportunity monsters the time to do the damage. Plus, thanks to Thorns ability it can even take out low health opportunity monsters.

`Complementing Abilities`

Being a neutral monsters ENCHANTED DEFENDER can be used with all splinters, making it to enjoy variety of summoners boosts and complementing abilities from friendly monsters.

ENCHANTED DEFENDER works best with summoners giving it extra shield or health. CHANSEUS THE GREAT, can even resurrect it and mend its damaged shield.

Some best complementing abilities for ENCHANTED DEFENDER are Protect, Repair, Blind, Demoralize, Triumph and Headwinds.

`Defense`

The best way to counter ENCHANTED DEFENDER is by using Magic attack monsters . Since mostly used in back of the row, magic sneak attacks can easily kill him. Rust and Shatter abilities are also effective against ENCHANTED DEFENDER.
Other options are using heavy ranged Poison attacks.

`MY LINEUP`

`MALRIC INFERNO`

Due to low battle mana, I decided to go with Rare Beta Summoners. And since magic attack was not allowed so I decided to go with Melee attack buff and hence used MALRIC INFERNO.

`FURIOUS CHICKEN`

Up front I placed zero mana FURIOUS CHICKEN to soak up enemy attack. In low mana battles every attack counts.

`LIVING LAVA`

On one down position, I placed the real tank, LIVING LAVA. Having decent health and shield makes this guy a nice tank choice in Weak or Lost Magic Rulesets.

`FLAME MONKEY`

Next I placed the the shield Repairer, FLAME MONKEY. Costing just one mana it give Shield Repair ability.

`HALFLING ALCHEMIST`

Time for a specialized monster, HALFLING ALCHEMIST. Halving ability can take care of the frontal attack of enemy.

On very last came the star of the show, ENCHANTED DEFENDER. I placed it at at very last to counter Sneak attacks.

`BATTLE ANALYSIS`

This battle went as planned. ENCHANTED DEFENDER stood its ground pretty well countering Sneak Attacks, with shield repaired continuously using Shield Repair ability.
