Flesh Golem | The immortal Tank of Splinterlands

So last week, the theme monster was Flesh Golem and I am still trying to cope with the competition. Sorry I am a bit late and coming up with the post as I could not resist myself from making an awesome entry with my favourite monster!

Flesh Golem is a Beta and Alpha edition melee card that belongs to the Earth reign and it also comes to with gold foil as usual. This defensive monster is one of the most most popular frontal defence in splinterlands because of his undying nature.

Earth is always famous for making Undying Healing Decks since the beginning of this game. With Wood Nymph and Spirit of the Forest, I have played countless matches with Flesh Golem and achieved victories. I had managed to make myself a level 9 alpha Flesh Golem before the alpha price went nuts. Yet to upgrade him, or should I replace it with the beta one, I am still confused XD

Ok so, before moving on, lt use see what s being written in the book of splinterlore for him.

The ghastly Flesh Golems of Anumün reside in the damp root tunnels of the Elder Tree. These remnants of the lost tribes from before the Splintering have incredible powers of regeneration. Since they drink from the River of Power, the Flesh Golems each attack with the strength of a hundred men.

For Alpha, Right now there is only a max level Flesh Golem available at the market and the price is exactly 330$ (0.87$ per bcx, 503,509.307 DEC). There are also some high-level monsters available at slightly higher prices and The single one is available at 1.69$ and will cost you 2,580.104 DEC as per the current rate.

For Beta, there is only a max level Flesh Golem available at the market and the price is exactly 68$ (0.11$ per bcx, 103,753.433 DEC). There are also some high-level monsters available at slightly higher prices and The single one is available at 0.21$ and will cost you 320.415 DEC as per the current rate.

Clearly, you can see the difference between the alpha and beta prices. I bought my Flesh Golem at the initial days and I think I have paid way little less than the current price. Anyways, It's a great card to hold definitely, why? jump down!

What Flesh Golem is capable of?

Let's have a look into his stats and find out!

• Level 1 - In its initial level, it carries 2 melee attack with 9 health and 3 speed. It brings high tank health even at the initial level with it.
• Level 4 - At level 4, it carries 3 melee attack at 3 speed and 9 health. It also gets Self-healing ability from level 3.
• Level 10 - At max level, It possesses 4 melee attack with 11 health at 3 speed. It also possesses the void ability from level 7.

Heal

The monster can heal a portion of damaged health each round.

Void

When getting hit from magic monsters, it will take reduced damage.

• Ruleset So, It was a dual ruleset as below...

• • Armored Up (all the monsters will get +2 armour).
• • Lost Magic ( No magic monster can be used in this battle).

It's a medium mana match this time and I am thinking to go for the Earth summoner Wizard of Eastwood deck with a group of mixed monsters and the Flesh Golem at the front.

Besides missing my magic monsters, I didn't really think much of the rulesets, I chose a Flesh Golem + Spirit combo and add Mitica for high attack at back.

FLESH GOLEM

I chose FLESH GOLEM in the first place because of its high health and healing as well. I have a level 9 and it has 4 melee attack at 3 speed and 10 health. No magic monsters are allowed so the void ability is useless, anyway, I can still use this tank with healing power. It has 2 abilities at max level. They are Heal and VOid as I told above.

EARTH ELEMENTAL

I chose EARTH ELEMENTAL in the second place because of its range power with heal. I have a level 7 and it has 3 range attack at 2 speed and 7 health. It has the healing ability from level 4.

SCREECHING VULTURE

I chose SCREECHING VULTURE in the third place because of its opportunity power with flying. I have a level 8 and it has 2 melee attack at 3 speed and 5 health. It has Scavenger, Flying and opportunity ability.

SWAMP THING

I chose SWAMP THING in the fourth-place mainly because of its Slow and weaken ability at low mana price. I have a level 6 and it has 2 range attack, 1 speed and 6 health. It carries the Slow and Weakens abilities with itself.

SPIRIT OF THE FOREST

I chose SPIRIT OF THE FOREST in the fifth-place mainly because of its Shield and Heal ability at 7 mana price. I have a level 4 and it has 3 range attack, 6 speed and 8 health. It carries 4 abilities with itself. they are Flying, Sniper, Tank healing and Shield.

MITICA HEADHUNTER

I chose MITICA HEADHUNTER at the last place mainly because of its Piercing and Snare ability at 8 mana price. I have a level 6 and it has 6 range attack, 5 speed and 6 health. It carries 3 abilities with itself. they are Snare, Piercing and Shatter.

Let us now take a dive in the gameplay.

Well, it was a fantastic match, my friends! My opponent was having almost all the cards at max levels whereas I had only 2 max cards in my line up. But still, I somehow steal my victory away!

First, let us follow the opponent's line-up...

• My opponent @winnogrono used Water epic summoner Xia Seachan against me.
• At the front position, he used Spineback Turtle Level 10. He chose a shielded tank with thrones to his front and I just hope I get able to kill this max level tank beast with my warriors.
• At the second position, he used Electric Eel level 8.
• At the third position, he puts Pirate Captain lev 10.
• At the fourth position, he chose Crustacean King lev 10.
• At the fifth position, he chose Water Elemental lev 8.
• At the last position, he chose Azmare Harpoonist lev 3.

AS you can see from the battle, Except the Harpoonist, all of his cards were of max level. But I had only 2 max level cards with me, Spirit of the FOrest and Mitica Headhunter. The rest were one or 2 levels below the Max level. At these types of matches, most of the time we use to lose. Only I was a bit luckier this time that my Undying combo worked out!

I didn't understand why he went for an epic summoner as he could use selenia for + range or even water summoner Alric. But anyways, his archers fought really well.

At this much mana level, I generally use either water deck for high attack stance or Earth or Selenia heal combos. Fire monsters can also be used but you have to look at the ruleset if it is favourable.

I haven't fought a lot with my opponent. But sure He is a brave player and I may have lost i. If you are reading this,f I chose one or 2 weaker cards please give him a shout out ;)
