Splinterlands Battle Challenge Captain´s Ghost

Hello there Splinterlords,

I want to share my battle using the monster cards Captain´s Ghost.

This card has been a good addition in the recent Reward set.

Let´s check out the card on every level:

From level 1 to 4, we can see he has the Affliction Ability, first water card ever with this ability.

At level 5 it gains the Suppress ability, very handy against tanks with no attack.

Great card overall, 2 great abilities that the Water splinter didnt had before and besides that it has a very strong magic damage.

The drawback is that it´s slow and average health with no armor. Although speed for magic attackers is no a problem when hitting enemies, magic does not miss.

Let´s go with the Battle Rules

This is a 29 Mana Battle (high mana battle) where no melee monsters can be used and all monsters have 2 armor.

This was a good opportunity to use the Water Splinter with Magic Attackers, because we can´t use melee monsters and if we use range monsters we will have to bring down the extra 2 armor from the battle rule.

Battle Formation

TANK - Lord Arianthus
Great Tank overall, with reflect on magic, void and shield that will be very usefull on this battle rules.

2nd position - Furious Chicken
Great decoy, will take 1 magic blast hit, or ranged ones.

3rd position - Genie
Good Magic Damage, with flying and 1 extra health to all friendly monsters.

4th position - Captain´s Ghost
Good magic damage and with affliction in case the opponent has any healer.

5th position - Ruler of the Seas
Great magic damage with silence, increase speed to everyone and blast damage.

6th position - Crustacean King
Great monster with little damage but very good for protection, extra 2 armor to every friendly monster and tank heal ability (great for Lord Arianthus).

Let´s go with the Battle.

As you can see in the battle, Captain Ghost was a good addition to the team, he afflicted Peaceful Gigiant and stoped the Divine Healer from healing him.
