It depends on the cards in question. ๐Ÿค” You should own as many unique Common and Rare cards as soon as you can afford them, and just rent the Epic and Legendary ones. ๐Ÿ˜€

The name of the Scarred Llama Mage is "Korina". ๐Ÿค“ More of that on https://splinterlands.com/?p=card_details&id=278&gold=true&edition=4&tab=lore. ๐Ÿ˜

I met opponents using her as the Summoner, and I get defeated more than 4 out of 5 times during those battles. ๐Ÿ˜…

She has the skills Last Stand and Cleanse, and also adds 2 Max Health to all your monsters in your team. ๐Ÿค“

I can sometimes defeat that combination in battles where the Mana Cap is high (more or less 27), as long as I use a set of Monsters whose total attack is at least 7 to overcome Kron The Undying's Health Regeneration.

Is there a unit with silence ability, one that silences ability? I know there is affliction but my water card ability of affliction is not guaranteed so it is not a good counter to Kron.

I also beat someone using Kron because, the summoner's skills were silenced.

Monsters with Affliction ability, even when used against Kron the Undying, is useless when the Summoner is Scarred Llama Mage.

I mean, depending on the ruleset & mana cap it's very possible to beat...you just need to get a little creative. That duo is definitely a pain in the ass if you find yourself lined up against it, but there's only so many different combinations of battle settings/rulesets that could even make it a (constant) threat in the first place...at most, maybe you'll run into those two together one in every 10 matches - and that's assuming you're matched up against people who are all doing that same lineup for some reason...

Having the Healed Out or Back to Basics Ruleset will give me a much higher chance of defeating that lineup, especially at high Mana Cap battles in Bronze or Silver League.

For any other ruleset, I don't know how to beat that combination, especially when the battle has only 17 Mana Cap. Even if I know beforehand that the opponent is going to use that combination again, I don't know how what to use to defeat that combination, unless I also use the same combination which will give me only a 50% chance of winning.

If you manage to have a total of 7 damage output on your team in the battle, then you can defeat the Scarred Llama Mage and Kron the Undying lineup. ๐Ÿค“

ฤฐt stills hard to have 7 overall damage while playing a low mana battle, While kron is beating up my monsters๐Ÿ˜‚

That's possible with 17 Mana if your Summoner and Monsters are fully upgraded for the Bronze League. ๐Ÿค“
