I have taken another look at Splinterlands. I think I understand better how upgrading cards works. The potential is much clearer, both in terms of enjoying the game more and business opportunity.

I realized that if you upgrade your monster cards before your summoner cards, you may not be able to use the monster in battle. So, if you're going to start investing, it's better to start on your summoners so you can control more powerful monsters.

As I have said elsewhere, they partnered with @gamecredits.org and the $ETH version of the NFT's for #Splinterlands should roll out next month!
P.S. $GAME might increase in value considerably, and take note, the #Hive-Engine #NFT's are centralized,

Good to hear that. @splinterlands is pretty much the #1 blockchain game in the market except for some gambling games. It'll be a good investment. Joining Guilds can give you access to lot of cool discounts and bonus earnings with DEC.
I'll have to learn about that. I joined a guild. But, I have not noticed any difference. Then again, I haven't searched.
You can earn upto 10% more DEC when you win a battle and you can get upto 10% discount at shop based on your Guild stats.
