It is said that running is a complex sport, which trains most muscles, which has surprising effects, blah blah blah ...
For 2 years I have heard in my entourage such laudatory statements about this sport. But it never tempted me to run more than 20 meters :). I always had my list of reasons and comparisons with other sports, which I put forward at every jogging invitation I received:

  • Running is a boring and monotonous sport. Well, just ... run and you're done! In aerobics it's like in dance, you have a multitude of movements that you have to learn, practice and practice. Where else can you combine them ... It clearly involves you more mentally.

  • Running is a solitary sport. I usually see runners alone; they are rarely lucky enough to have a partner who runs at their own pace, who keeps close to them

  • running is a sport practicable in few locations: the parks are quite small and then there is a need to repeat a lap to make a longer route (so monotony!); the parks are crowded with pedestrians and cyclists that you must get tired of avoiding

  • autumn, winter, spring the weather is capricious and you can't build a regular running program. In addition, it gets dark early and it is not very pleasant to run alone in the dark

However, yesterday I made an effort to understand and started running. First it was a matter of forced circumstances, then I started to get used to it and I have no doubt that I will end up liking it. During the countless breaks I took some pictures, not very high quality, but I had to immortalize this magnolia, no matter what.
