In this post; I'll share my winning match with Manticore in splinterlands.

Another product of the twisted genetic experiments of the Gloridax is on the loose. The hybrid monster known as the Manticore is a cross between a Dragon, a Lion, a scorpion, and countless other monstrosities from which it draws its powers. CHALLENGE RULES

• I just created this post sharing a video of one of my battles using the MANTICORE.
• Just finished tagging splinterlands and spt.
• So, to explain my lineup... Why did I use the cards I did? And why in that order?
  Yeah about that... In this match; I've played with dragon splinter.
  As I need to show a battle with MANTICORE, I had to play the match with dragon splinter.
  I had this card in my collection and it's at level 3.

SO... here's me with my opponent.

Battle Details

I've got an opponent with level 0 cards... agaaaaain.
And I was at Diamond 3 maybe so I think that's my good luck.
The battles mana cap was only 12 with the rule "Reversed Speed = Monsters with the lowest speed attack first and have the highest chacne of evading attacks".

Let's see my lineup.

NO 01: ANIMATED CORPSE

I chose death splinter in order to play dragon splinter and I couldn't use my favorite melee attacker of death splinter (Haunted Spirit) so I've used my second favorite melee attacker of death splinter (Animated Corpse) at front. And honestly... it did well. My Animated Corpse is at level 6 with 3 melee attack, 3 speed & 3 health with "Void = Reduce damage from magic attacks" ability and it needs 4 mana only. It's a zombie, dude. I hope Carrie (@carrieallen) will throw a contest with this card someday.

NO 02: MANTICORE

Now we're talking about Manticore; the card for which I'm writing all this things.
My manticore is at level 3 with 2 melee attack, 3 speed & 7 health with "Flying = Has an increase chance of evading melee or ranged attacks from monsters who do not have the flying ability and Reach = Melee attack monsters with the reach ability may attack from the second position on the team" and it needs 4 mana only.
I gave this card second position for the match for it's "reach" ability.

NO 03: FURIOUS CHICKEN

I didn't have any mana left now but I had slot left.
So I've used Furious Chicken for it's 0 mana.
My Furious Chicken is at level 4 with 1 melee attack, 1 speed & 1 health and it needs 0 mana only.

Furious Chicken can be a great asset sometime cause it gets the hit and help others to hit the opponent.
It's like a life vest.
I normally like this card.

Let's talk about the battle.

Round 1

Here at round 1; the match just started with my Animated Corpse, Manticore, Furious Chicken & My opponents Cerberus, Cobold Miner, Imp Bowman, Furious chicken, Flame Monkey.
Yeah my opponents card selection was nice but all of them were at level 1 with regular abilities/powers which couldn't stand in front of my cards of higher level.
Beside, all of my card got extra one attack power with the help of my dragon summoner (Daria Dragonscale).

My opponents Cobold Miner with 2 melee attack, 2 speed, 2 health & "Sneak" ability attacked my furious chicken at the very beginning of the match and killed my furious chicken.
RIP my furious chicken at the first round.
The cobold miner of my opponent showed his nice speed and sneak ability at the very beginning which is kinda remarkable.

Then my animated corpse attacked the cerberus of my opponent which had 3 melee attack, 3 speed, 4 health & "Heal" ability.
My animated corpse reduced the health of the Cerberus from 4 to 2.
But then the cerberus of my opponent healed immediately and made it's health 4 again.

Opponents cerberus attacked my animated corpse with 3 melee attack and drank 3 health of my animated corpse immediately.
Which left my animated corpse with 4 health only.

This time my Manticore is in action.
With it's 3 melee attack; it drank up 3 health of my opponents Cerberus .
And not my opponents Cerberus has only 1 health with no heal.
Then opponents Imp Bowman dranh up one more health of my Animated Corpse.

Round 2

I had only 2 cards at that time while my opponent had all of his card; nothing died that side :(

Opponents Cobold Miner attacked my Manticore with 2 melee attack and my Manticore lost 2 of it's health.
Then my Manticore ate up opponents Cerberus with a melee attack.
Which made my opponent so weak and my cards could take the chance at that time.

My animated corpse with 2 melee attack; attacked opponents Cobold Miner and killed it with that one shot which made my opponent weaker.
And then round 2 ended at that time while I still had my Animated corpse, Manticore with good health and my opponent had Imp Bowman *with 1 health & 1 ranged attack), Furious Chicken (with no attack power) and Flame Imp (with 2 health & 1 melee attack without any ability).

Round 3

I was still at nice position with good health and powers while my opponent was at the worse time.

My Animated Corpse started the round with a big boom (killed Imp Bowman of my opponent).

Then My Manticore killed opponents Furious Chicken with 3 mele attack
while the Furious Chicken only had 1 health.
Now my opponent had only Flame Monkey.
Then the next round.

Round 4 (Final Round)

I still had my Animated Corpse but with low health as 3 and my Manticore was still healthy with 5 health.
At that time; my opponent had only Flame Monkey with 1+1extra=2 melee attack and 2 health.

Opponents Flame Monkey drank up 2 health of my Animated Corpse but my Animated Corpse still didn't die.

Then my Manticore killed the last card of my opponent with 3 melee attack which made my opponent lose the battle.

I still had Animated Corpse with 1 health and Manticore with 5 health.
I can say that my Manticore did nice, really nice.

Although this match was easy for me as I got the opponent with lower level cards; I really enjoyed the match.

• Yeah my strategy work out perfectly. I'll definietly try to use MANTICORE again next time while I play with dragon splinter according to mana cap.
• I try to use MANTICORE in every match that I play with dragon splinter for it's gtreat performance which you just saw in my battle.
