LaVista's Intro

Hello there. Hope you are in good health.

I am a doctor, an ophthalmologist to be specific, by profession. I am interested in various other subjects too, more on that later. I used to think I am a dabbler, but I may well be a multipotentialite. It definitely sounds way cooler than "dabbler".

I first saw the word when I read @patsitivity's intro here, which was recommended to me by @lovesniper @indayclara. Thanks for the recommendation and warm welcome.
On wiki, it says :

It can also refer to an individual whose interests span multiple fields or areas, rather than being strong in just one. Such traits are called multipotentialities, while "multipotentialites" has been suggested as a name for those with this trait.

Ok, so what are my interests then?

I really don't know where to start. I am quite literally interested in everything, except, probably the sport Golf. This is what I have put in the about section of our other blog:

Engineer wife and doctor husband with their cute little boy blogging on every topic under the Sun, around it and outside its system too, except, maybe, golf. We don’t really know much about it.

I love listening to music, even tried learning the guitar and violin.
I used to play cricket a lot, love watching it whenever I get a chance now. I watch most other sports too, except golf 😉.
Love reading, trying my hand at writing- have 2 other blogs other than this.

My wife and I have a channel on YouTube where I have done a few 3D illustrations on the eyeball, planets and rotation, a few short stories and so on. We also have an instagram page where my wife posts her 2D art mostly and sometimes I post my rubbish 3D art 🤣.

What else... I am interested in everything technology related, even had a blog named techno addict, which I eventually shut down. I am an avid fan of the pure sciences, especially Physics, for as long as I can remember.

I also have been a video gamer, again, for as long as I can remember. I have been playing Diablo 2 and its expansion and its mods for 20 years now. I have bought and installed Diablo 3 with its expansions on 3 different platforms 🤐.

I recently got interested in NFTs and blockchain technology when NFTs suddenly were in the limelight. I do not claim to understand it all but I do believe it is here to stay and the applications of NFTs are far reaching; I don't think we have even scratched the surface yet.

My interest in gaming combined with a new interest in NFTs lead me naturally to the blockchain based, play to earn, NFT games. It all started with Alien Worlds, then Gods Unchained and now Splinterlands. This is how I got introduced to HIVE and its applications.

So, this is my intro and what I do. I will therefore, probably, post on a wide variety of topics. If anyone is interested in seeing our YouTube channel or Insta page, I will post the links in the comments section.
