I always valued small consistent votes a lot and it's sad to see another good project give up. The free downvotes and non-linear reward curve really made steemit into a hypocritical war zone that is pushing me away.

I was also a fan of the little communities adding that little extra upvotes. They helped over the long run. Don't see it as giving up though, we just didn't want it to come down to being flagged and our members being flagged. We saw this happening with some little projects and even though MAW has been around for a long time, we wouldn't have been able to fight back with the big guys.
It is indeed sad... BUT this change, after all the dust settles, might be worth it after all... For now, not looking too good... Thanks for all the support!
