I wanted to write something

inspired by Splinterlands, and this was the result thus far, though I think it needs some more, as I'll explain below. I envisioned something soundscapey/ambient, with no real rhythm, just sounds floating around and as I added more tracks, I began to see a dark castle, which is kind of creepy, but within it, some sort of Life splinter-related magic, which provides a little bit of light. The chord progression reflects that, sticking to Cminor for much of the progression, but resolving to Cmajor at certain points, which give it a sudden brightness. The flat 6 also shows up a lot, so the Cminor never feels entirely like we've reached home, as the G in it tends to jump up a half step when you're just getting settled.

These tracks are all very mid/low-mid

heavy, so I think whatever I add next will be entirely in the highs/high-mids, to fill things in a bit more. There were a few attempts here to do that (specifically tracks 7 and 15), which provide the twinkly little bell sounds throughout. With the heavy delay/reverb, these winds up having a sort of metallic timbre, which I imagined being gates or creaky doors within the aforementioned castle. Every track aside from Track 1 uses the below progression, though 7 and 15 do not hold the notes out like the others, instead providing those staccato hits.
