So this song is definitely

not finished, as I just started piling tracks up last night; there are a lot of voluem adjustments that need to happen, some EQing/compressing/etc., and, there is a hissy effect on Track 2's synth that is supposed to swell into the big hit when the drums arrive, but it starts and ends too early right now. So try and look past that, cause I think the general vibe is really cool. It's dark and plodding, which I think works well for an evil, demonic leader like Jarlax.

Tracks 1, 2, 3 and 4

are what we begin the song with, and are the backbone of the entire song. We only go through the full sections 3 times, but I think this song will get longer, with some more variation at points to keep it interesting. Track 4 comes in with a synth bass, with a second distorted bass (using Band's Classic Bass in Kontakt, from NI's Komplete Start Package) in Track 6, doubling in different octaves. Track 5 provides the twangy, guitar/eastern string instrument (although it's really just a VST modeled after an analog synth), which perhaps needs to be doubled or harmonized with, using a second instrument.

Track 5, twangy synth.

All of the remaining

5 tracks are for percussion purposes, with the first two being audio samples from GlitchMachinesm grouped together, providing a really metallic, creepy bang on certain beats. We then have the timpani's, which need to be a lot bigger (not louder, but wider), and cymbal hits. One cymbal track has the sample tuned down 7 half steps, and the other, up 4, just to make it thicker, and sound less like an actual cymbal that was sampled, but something more creepy and intense.

Hope you enjoy the song! Maybe I'll keep fixing this up and make it my submission for the next Lore/Music contest... we'll see!
