This is from a few day's

ago, just before I started writing the songs I've shared for the last few days, all based around the Newscool percussion stuff, and ambient synths and whatnot. I want this to be short, and have a sort of lullaby vibe, but as the song progressed, a noisey/droney thing would start to swell in, and eventually engulf the song just before it ends. I imagined this to be the Giant (of the title) sleeping, having a great dream, then slowly being sucked out of the dream back to reality, where he has to fight battles and live a generally stressful, not particularly peaceful, life.

Listen to The Giant's Lullaby here.

Track 1 provides the LABS' bells,

which as you can see below, are actually not quantized, though you don't really feel the wonky rhythm since they're spread out enough. Track 2 uses the 'scary strings', also from Spitfire Audio's LABS, and does a little call and response thing against the bells. Track 3 just provides a single note, which accents the Eb in the bells. Track 6 provides the weird, noisey sort of sounds in the background, while 4 and 5 are used for that droney, chaotic swell that takes us to the end of the song.
