The Creation of a new Logo for "The Guild of NEOXIAN" [ENG/GER]

Heute möchte ich Euch das neue Blog Logo der Splinterlands Gilde "The Guild of NEOXIAN" vorstellen und ein paar Einblicke der Entstehung geben.

Durch meine selbst entworfenen Graffiti Splinterland Logos wurde @zaku auf mich aufmerksam. Er hatte mich über Discord kontaktiert und mich gefragt ob er einige der Bilder für seine Blogs verwenden darf.

Da er mit seinem bisherigen Gilden Logo für Blogs nicht ganz zufrieden gewesen ist, hat er mich kurzerhand gefragt, ob ich vielleicht ihres überarbeiten könnte.

Da ich gerne an Grafiken arbeite und zu meinem alten Hobby, dem Zeichnen, nach etwa 20 Jahren wieder zurück gefunden habe, habe ich mich ein paar Tage später an das Logo rangesetzt und mit Photoshop überarbeitet.

Hier kommen wir nun zu den einzelnen Schritten:		 Today I'd like to introduce you to the new blog logo of the Splinterlands guild "The Guild of NEOXIAN" and give you some insights into its origins.

Through my self-designed graffiti Splinterland Logos, @zaku attention to me. He had contacted me about discord and asked me if he could use some of the images for his blogs.

Since he was not completely satisfied with his previous guild logo for blogs, he asked me if I could revise her.

Since I like to work on graphics and have found my way back to my old hobby, drawing, after about 20 years, I set the logo a few days later and revised it with Photoshop.

Here we come to the individual steps:

Als Grundlage habe ich, wie von @zaku schon in seinem Entwurf genutzt, die Gildenhalle auf Level 10 genommen.

As a basis, I have, as used by @zaku in his design, the guild hall at level 10 taken.


Damit der Schein über der Gildenhalle besser zur Geltung kommt, habe ich einen schwarzen Hintergrund dahintergelegt.

In order for the light above the guild hall to come into its own, I put a black background behind it.

Danach habe ich dem Torbogen etwas mehr Tiefe und Schatten hinzugefügt, sowie einen von links nach rechts verändernde Belichtung hinzugefügt. Damit wollte ich den Ansatz eines Sonnenunterganges andeuten.

Then I added a bit more depth and shade to the archway, and added a left to right changing exposure. I wanted to suggest the approach of a sunset.

Im folgenden Schritt habe ich das gewählte Banner Logo der Gilde, die Hand mit dem Auge, aus der Splinterlands Gildenübersicht genommen und auf der Gildenhalle im mittleren Banner eingefügt.

In the following step, I took the guild banner icon selected, the Hand with the Eye, from the Splinterlands Guild Overview, and pasted it on the Guild Hall in the middle banner.


Nun ist der Neoxian Würfel an der Reihe, welchen ich in dem Schein über der Gildenhalle eingebunden und ihm zusätlich noch eine glühende Aura und Lila Schein verpasst.

Now it's the turn of the Neoxian Cube, which I'm going to tie into the glow above the guild hall and give it a glowing aura and purple glow.


Damit der Hintergrund nicht so eintönig Schwarz ist, kommt nun noch zu dem angedeutetem Sonnenuntergang ein buntes Feuerwerk hinzu um wieder mehr Farbe ins Spiel zu bringen.

So that the background is not so monotonous black, now added to the hint of sunset a colorful fireworks to bring back more color into play.


Zu guter Letzt fehlt nun noch die Beschriftung. Hier habe ich im oberen Teil den Gildennamen und im unteren Teil deren Motto eingesetzt. Hier seht Ihr nun das finale Ergebnis.
Ich präsentiere Euch hiermit das neue Logo der Gilde "The City of NEOXIAN"

Finally, the label is missing. Here I used the guild name in the upper part and its motto in the lower part. Here you can see the final result.
