NextColony - The Great Exodus of Explorers

When There Ain't Much Left to Explore...

Fun With 46.png

Maybe the first few months of NextColony have been good to you. Maybe you got your Explorer skill and your Shipyard appropriately upgraded in time...

But Maybe You Didn't.

Either way, for the first ring of colonized planets, a.k.a. the Beta Ring, there just isn't much exploring left to do. Some people thought it would go on forever. Some people even stockpiled more Explorers than they needed, thinking the unexplored space would go on forever.

That Space Disappeared Fast...

This is one of my purchased planets from another area of the Beta ring. I'm that single lump of Coal in the middle. Look how crowded. No hope of exploring.
Now, most of those Explorers are on their way to the outer edges of the galaxy. They have either been relocated or they're simply waiting for their inevitable destruction in a raid. I call this movement The Great Exodus of Explorers.

The Space Goes On Forever...

You just have to get to it first.

I got ridiculously lucky in NextColony, in terms of both planet-finding and overall positioning in the galaxy. I have built a collective of 9 planets right on the bottom edge of explored space. This means that I'm one of the few who will continue to have access to new explorations for the coming weeks and months. So what am I doing?

I'm buying Explorers, y'all!

The price of Explorers has basically tanked as they have become useless in the eyes of the crowded Beta Ring Colonists. This morning, I'm preparing to finalize the purchase of 3 Explorers for 5 STEEM, the best deal I've yet seen. More and more people will begin to feel that liquidating their Explorers is a necessity, and if you're in a position to explore, you're in a position to capitalize.

Explorers find planets, planets make mines, mines produce resources, resources buy battleships... That is the great cycle of NextColony...

Now get out there and buy some cheap Explorers!

Remember, there is no official market for ship sales, so currently everything must be done through Discord. Good luck!

Thanks! :) I really do enjoy the game. It's a new hobby for me.

I live pretty high in the mountains, away from lots of people, so there are animals everywhere here. The deer are friendly, but bears, coyotes, hawks, owls, bobcats and mountain lions are another story. :D

I'll make an effort to share more pictures of nature around my home this summer. Thanks! :)
