[CR] "Ivana Kupala"

Ivana Kupala is an ancient festival of the Eastern Slavs in which the celebrated of the nigh 6th to 7th July.
In ancient times, on that day, people gathered healing herbs, searched for a flower fern.

Girls and young man tried to predict their fate and to know, whether they would find love in this year.
There were many rituals.
Young couples with holding hands jumped over the fire.
They could not separate hands. This was considered a bad omen.
girls made wreaths with summer flowers and divinated on them.
I really like the Legend of the fern flower.
According to Slavic beliefs, the fern blooms for only one moment, on the night before Ivan Kupala.

The one who owns it acquires magical abilities. He can be understand the language of animals, see all the treasures, no matter how deep they are in the earth, controled spirits, command the earth and water, become invisible and take on any guise.

But this flower difficult to pick, because since the devil force impedes and intimidates the person in every possible way, in some cases depriving the mind of speech, of memory.
I depicted a bright orange fern flower that seemed to burn with fire.
