Juventus signs de Ligt

Italian Champions have signed one of the most prolific youngsters of Europe. de Ligt who played for Ajax has now completed his transfer to Juventus on £67.5 dollar. He will join his idol Ronaldo at Turin.

de Ligt joined Ajax when he was just 9 years old and now he leaves as a hero for the club. He had a great year with Ajax. When de Ligt made his debut, Ajax was playing in the Europa League. At the age of 19, he captained Ajax team and made it a powerhouse of Europe.

From Europa League, Ajax became the Champions League contender, reaching the semifinal and ultimately loosing to Spurs. In this process, they defeated Juventus in the quarter-final. It was de Ligt who scored the winning goal for Ajax.
