Sometimes the auto response !BEER usually gives don't show up but you still get your !BEER. Other times it doesn't work at all for some reason.

Don't jinx me .....

I only boost small amounts and only when needed. I give what I think is sufficient amount of time for my topics to reach $1-$3 before considering using paid for advertisement in an attempt to get my topics noticed by more Steemians. It's important to note that I don't agree with bid bot abuse but I don't view what I'm doing as abuse.

Some do have that opinion and I'm certainly running the risk of being downvoted. Hopefully the newsteem crew will come to the conclusion that not all bot use is abuse but if not they are free to do what they wish with their weight on this blockchain as is everyone else.

I don't think the downvoters care about rep. They may care about accounts that hold large amount of SP as the accounts that do can retaliate back with downvotes (I;m not one of them).

In either case, this topic just got hit with a bunch of downvotes.
