HAPPY FATHERS DAY

Fathers day is a day set aside to honour and celebrate parternal bonds and influence in our lives. Being a father goes beyond you being a male. A father is a male figure who is responsible enough to nurture a child be it a biological, adopted or any form of link. Growing up, i realised not having a dad around was a great disheartening state when i listened to a friend of mine who had lost his biological dad talk about how it felt. To him, there was this deep emptiness and sadness that hovered around whenever he sees someones dad. The feeling gets worst during Parent Teachers Association meetings as most fathers visit their children in the school and bring along something.

Growing up, i have had a great dad who has always been there for me. May God bless Mr. W. K. Tuah for all that he has spent on me and the dedication to make sure i have a better future. I owe everything to him. He didnt only bring me to this world but thought me how to be a good man of virtue. Today is a day of celebration and i choose to celebrate you Dad. You are worth celebrating. I remember the sleepless nights you had when i had even just a slight cold. You will be up and worried about my health till i got better. I remember how angry you will get when i mess up. You will often say, im careless and it will pain me to the bone. You know how to relate with me when i mess up and the long stern look of punishment which moulded me into the man i am becoming. I am forever grateful to you. You are indeed a daddy worth celebrating.

And to all fathers out there, You have a big job ahead. You can choose to be a caring dad and reap the benefits later or be a dad whose children dont want to see. The former is required and is worth more than Gold. I pray you all stay awesome and we cherish and love you as much. No matter how small the sacrifices, we see and we are thankful to you. You guys are awesome.
