Philippe Coutinho switched from Liverpool to FC Barcelona last summer for a record high. The Brazilian has had more than difficulty finding the form he showed in the Premier League.

The offensive player's disappointing performance and the lack of playing time has made several top clubs see an opportunity to pick up the Brazilian. Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have all been interested in the Barcelona flop. However, Coutinho also knows that he has not performed well enough since the switch to Barcelona.

I haven't had a good season. My performance has been much worse than expected. It is only through hard work that I can develop and get the confidence back, and I work hard, says Coutinho to Marca.

The Brazilian national team has, to say the least, had a terrible time in the Catalan club. He has had a hard time getting stuck in the starting lineup under coach Valverde, and when he has had the chance, he has not succeeded in seizing it.

This season he had only managed to score 11 goals and 5 assists in 54 games. Coutinho's contract expires in 2023.
